Some mature language up in here.

Well, wasn't that just peaches and cream? It seemed some nobody had swept Thistle off her feet. Some nobody that Edy could not recall really ever meeting. Congratu-fucking-lations to them. Kennedy's leg was doing a tad bit better, but he knew it would never be the same. How could it? Even with Thistle's work, they were still just wolves, and not much could be done to set the bone properly. Kennedy had taken to just keeping the leg close to him at all times, rarely letting it touch the ground or hold any of his weight.

Kennedy moped by the ocean today, wondering if he should just throw himself in and be done with it. That would be the easier option. Living in a constant state of unrest and dissatisfaction was not exactly his idea of fun. Perhaps he should just leave the ridge all together. Trek out and find something better. At this point, though, he was not sure that "better" existed. This was probably as good as it would ever get.

Exploring the territory was the female's first order of business. After the alpha, pump, showed the female the denning area, the pack's catche, and various hunting grounds the female wandered around. Eventually she found her way unto the sandy shores of her new pack's territory. The shore was beautiful not littered by any trash, it was pristine. The sea was a healthy blue color and she assumed it was filled with its our aquatic wildlife.

Dragging himself along the beach a scrawny ebony wolf paced looking obviously upset. The female decided this would be a great time to meet him. Trotting up to the other wolf the chocolate female saw how scrawny he actually was. He smelled sick, and had obvious injuries. "Well you look like shit." Diluculo spoke honestly her lack of filter shining through. "I'm Diluculo by the way. I'm new here. You've probably already hear of me though. You are?" Stated the female cockily.

"Well, you look like shit." Those were perhaps the only truthful words Kennedy felt he had heard since the rockslide. Nobody had come out and said it until just now, and he actually felt better hearing that out loud. The honesty was extremely refreshing to the mopey, sullen skeleton of a wolf, and he perked up in a way he had not done in quite some time. He took a moment to observe the female, eyeballing her with interest.

“Kennedy,” he replied after a pregnant pause. “I haven’t heard of you.” He considered elaborating on this, but he did not. Instead, he sat, waiting the inevitable questions or comments or conversation-starters that she was bound to throw upon him.

When the wolf didn't reply for a few seconds the female almost assumed something was wrong with him. Maybe as a pup he was dropped too hard on the head. Before she could voice her judgement the ebony male told her his name, Kennedy. The female chuckled when the male sat down and said he hadn't heard of her. "On the contrary, I told you my name so you have heard of me." The chocolate pelted female replied trying to be witty.

She was curious about what happened to the wolf, why he was mopey and injuried."What happened to you black wolf?" The she wolf questioned curiously.

Kennedy stared at her with a blank expression when she tried her hand at a joke. He was in no mood for humor, that much he knew. Perhaps his first impression had been wrong, and she was just like everybody else—trying to make him into something he was not. The man was sick of it, and wished only to be left alone. Or kicked out. That would have been a-okay with him, too. For some reason, the wolves of the ridge insisted on keeping him around. Perhaps for entertainment purposes.

It seemed she was unaware of the event that had caused his current state, and he took the opportunity for all it was worth. “I asked too many questions,” he replied, eyeballing her with kelly-green eyes. “If you aren’t careful, the same could happen to you.”

Diluculo was a woman to hold back when someone was annoying. She would step out and say it,mnot dance around the attacker with vague statements of annoyance. "You know you could stop being a whiny bitch and just tell me you don't want to talk. It would make things a lot easier for the both of us." The female spoke with obvious anger in her voice. She was tired of wolves being simply polite but annoyed at the same time. She wanted honesty, not curtesy.

“Who said I was trying to make things easier?” he asked flatly. Ever since the incident, life had been anything but easy for him. In fact, it was a constant struggle to even get up in the morning. Not just because of the physical side of things, either. The once filled-out Razorback had suffered some kind of mental breakdown along the line, leaving him as he was now.

“Nobody’s making you try and talk to me.” In fact, if she'd talked to anybody else about Kennedy, they probably would have warned her about his sour attitude and general unhappiness.

Diluculo was not in the mood to argue with some mopey sickly wolf who just felt bad for himself. It was enough that the midnight female had to deal with some pretty big wolf who just automatically thought everyone needed to bow to him. "Why are you being such a pussy. I've spoke with you for minutes and I can already tell all you do is feel bad for yourself. Shut the fuck up and move on. So what you got a boo boo, fucking pick yourself up off the ground and walk on." Diluculo was against showing sympathy for any sickly wolf. You could mourn for a minute but after that you need to move on.

“Easy for you to say,” he spat. She was healthy, able, and would probably be having children next year (if not sooner). Kennedy, on the other hand, would never be considered good breeding material, so he would live out the rest of his days as a single man with a sour heart. There was no getting around it, unfortunately. There had been a glimmer of hope when he had seen her at first, but all that was now washed away.

“And I’ll do what I want. If you don’t like it, do something about it.” Kennedy was not going to do what somebody said just because they thought they were better than him.

Diluculo laughed. The male was pitiful and it was obvious there was no hope for him as he taunted her. "What would you like me to do about it? Kill you?" In all reality she wouldnt kill him. She just wanted to see what his answer would be.

“You don’t have the guts,” he replied. Nobody around here did. They would rather pity him (or whatever it was they were doing) than kill him off like any sensible wolf would do. He was dead weight, and he certainly wasn't getting any better. The grump slid to the ground, weary and unwilling to hear anymore of this girl's nonsense.

What had started out as a hopefully good encounter had turned sour within minutes, and it only solidified Edy's thoughts that his life was over the moment he had become trapped beneath that boulder. They should have left him there to die. At least it would have been quicker and easier than this nonsense.

The male didn't have the balls to do shit, it was almost ironic that he attempted to call her out for something. "And you don't have the guts to just give up, because you still care." Diluculo taunted the male.

She held no more pity for the pathetic male. He wanted everyone to give up on himself but he wouldn't give up. The only reason he was still around was because he wanted to be.
