All Welcome
It had snowed freshly over the night, and when Brandy left the warmth of Aduin's side she was the first to break the frosted layer of the morning.

Pulling forward on carefully silent paws, the young Huntress stalked forward until she was just a few yards away from the bird before bursting forward and running it down with a snarl and a flurry of snaps. It was easy to overcome the fowl and end its life by the breaking of its neck. Standing tall and proud, she dropped it only when she'd reached the lake to take a drink. She stayed there well into the morning as to not disturb anybody, but when she was sure others were at least awake she loosed a howl for @Aduin and made her way towards the whelping den.

Approaching at a crawl, belly creating a divot across the snow until she was a couple feet away, dropping the fowl and taking a step back before chuffing for @Pearl, @Ivy, @Mato, or @Benjamin. Her tail was tucked to her flank, ears fanned back as she awaited an audience -- she hadn't yet been so close to any part of Sebastian's direct family since Odette had broke her tail, save for the deer hunt on thanksgiving.

A foreign chuffin noise had woken Mato instantly from his sleep. As he pulled himself from such a state, he blinked slowly and turned his attention towards the mouth of the den. As the figure of a stranger came into his sights, Mato unsteadily pulled himself onto his paws and wobbled towards the den with the motivation to see who this was at their den. Mato had not yet interacted with anybody beyond his immediate relations and was naturally curious to see a wolf that he had never seen before.

The wolf was held low against the frigid blanket of snow-- that much he noticed upon exiting the den. His ears were perked and his eyes shined as he looked to the stranger, but, as he stepped onto the snow he turned his attention down to his paw and shivered. Though he was not a stranger to the substance, he could not get over how cold it was. He had never felt something so cold and was quite confused by this!

Turning back to the stranger, with a smile still in place, he greeted her and the morsel with a boisterous, “brrrr!” as if to state the obvious.

Pearl was alerted to another presence outside the den by a familiar chuff, grabbing her attention from monitoring a playful tussle between Ivy and Ben. She watched a sleepy Mato wander out, and closely followed him to the outstide. It was Brandy, a friend she hadn't seen for the better part of a month. "Hey! How are you?"  she said, glancing behind her briefly to see if any others would follow their mom out.

She looked at her shivering firstborn and gave a small laugh of amusement. He'd get used it, and besides, he had a thick coat like his father. Even so, she'd make sure he went in soon. In the meanwhile, she sat down so he'd have something warm to find.

She'd watched Mato wander out, her interest mild at best.  Life outside the den was so cold.  When she first encountered that white stuff falling from the sky Ivy had been quite taken by it.  But she quickly found out how wet and frigid it was.  Snow, she finally decided, was not something she particularly enjoyed.

But her beloved mother followed Mato right out to the mouth of the den and the smallest pup could't help the curiosity that bubbled up inside her.  Mm.. she murmured, unable to decide if she wanted to atttempt "Mato" or "Mom".  Didn't matter in the end - Ivy stood and scampered off after both of them.  She cleared her throat to grab her brother's attention as she leaned up against her mother's legs, unintentionally ignoring the family's company.

Aduin stirred awake at the sound of a call for him. He lifted his head slowly, then glanced over at his side. He got a little worried not seeing his mate by his side, so he went out to find her. And that he did.

She was at the whelping den of Pearl and Sebastian's pups, and Pearl had already greeted her. Alongside two of their pups. He gave a nod of greeting to Pearl, stopping right by Brandy's side. Aduin needn't ask what she was doing here, for he could have easily guessed what the reason for it was. He would let Brandy do the talking, remaining by her side.
