Tambourine and Moonbrook were both gone. Both disappeared in quick succession. Reek had spent a good deal of the final days of winter looking for the pair. Especially his son, Tambourine, as Reek had promised that he would protect him from harm. But no matter where Reek searched, he turned up no clues to their whereabouts. The bear responsible for their mysterious disappearance was gone without a trace and Reek was none the wiser. His only hope was that the two had left together to elope or something. He found that scenario to be unlikely (Tam had never really been close to Moonbrook as far as Reek could tell), but the thought kept him from having a conniption.

Life went on.

Spring was in full effect and the brown, half-dead glade was now draped in a cover of verdant green. With the turning of the seasons, Reek went on the prowl. It had been so long since he had devoted his time to gathering herbs. He hadn't been much of a healer for a long while, but he felt now was a good time to get back into the trade. So, though the wood he weaved with eyes and nose tuned to earth in search of something useful.

She padded lightly thorugh the glade, taking in the bright spring colors and peltiful abundance of life. Her ivory colors stood out in this land, more prone to the winter months. It was not a thing that she minded of course, a good hunter knew of to work around such an impasse. The light breeze carried the wafting scent of the blooming flowers to her snout. The flowery scent was so pungent she nearly sneezed.

It was the light shining off of a glimmering obsidian pelt that made her pause her stride. Excitement washed over her as she chuffed at the other wolf. It was most certainly one of the pack members, this far into the glade, but whom it was she did not know. Her sweet voice cried out a happy note, "Hello!" And she bounded over, making sure to keep her tail low although it swayed with enthusiasm.
