Anyone is welcome to find her, but I'm tagging @Reek and @Jhala for visibility!

Fuck.

It was as if everything had come back to her at once. Or rather, all of the important things came back — name, age, business. Where she had come from and how she had gotten to where she was still remained in question, but those things seemed relatively unimportant in the grand scheme of things. After all, Jae could not change the past, but she was sure as hell about to take charge of the future.

Though her head pounded with each step and laborious breath, Jae pressed onward to the borders so that she might make her way across without much chaos. She was no follower of any rule but her own, and despite all of the questions left unanswered, that was for certain.
Jae suffers from hyperacusis (increased sensitivity to sound) in the forms of autophony and phonophobia.
Because of this, she is prone to violent outbursts.

He stayed on their outskirts, a lot like Tambourine had done, so when the strange female sensitive to sound came cutting a path into his loitering spaces, Silas was swift to notice. Frankly, she gave him a bit of a start and distracted him from a barely lukewarm pheasant trail—then his tell-tale nervousness was quick to arrive after with an uneasy, but small, prickle down his back. He stopped what he was doing and angled towards her, squinting plainly at her through the trees as the momentum of his now-abandoned pursuit still carried him closer.

The hunter watched her with a stiff, cautious stance about him. What are you doing? his bright, intent eyes suggested, but the rest of him seemed on the fence about how to feel as he tried to discern her intentions, knowing good and well what it looked like right now.

Jae took a step, followed by another soon after. The before she knew it, she was beyond the border. She knew the scent lingering nearby to be a familiar one, though she refused to stop for something that would soon be so easily forgotten. With a few reassuring huffs, Jae was off at full speed, choosing to ignore the pain that the rush of air brought to her ears. How long she would be able to keep that up was unknown, but she knew that it would have to be at least long enough for her to make it away from what could easily become dangerous.

His eyes stay narrowed although he finds few answers. It appears to be exactly what it looks like, but where is she even going? It's enough of a question to get him to follow after.. however distantly it was. Silas doesn't know where she came from, where she'd have to go, or where she found the motivation to do just that (of which he couldn't help but be a little envious about). It seemed like she had just arrived here. He still felt strangely fresh to the area..

He fell a little more behind after she picked up the speed, so he had to move it along too. Silas, mostly for the sake of tracking her curiously, did decide to follow her a short ways past the Glade's borderlands, further than planned originally. Her pathway, noted, although he would never know her intentions behind them.. something about the pursuit, no matter how vague and casual, seemed logical.

But, he would not dog her too intently, and kept a decent distance for his own sake. Just to creep, and memorize her pathways while he was out at it.

He had to wonder: was this how all the other recent disappearances began? He tried to imagine Tambourine doing the same, or Moonbrook. What if he was next?
you can archive this or reply again to go more, i left it kind of unclear lol but i'm good with whatever you gotta do
