All Welcome
Clover wildly romped outside, tail waving as she raced around her familys doorstep. She was chasing a butterfly that simply was not having it—but Clover thought it was a willing participant in this one-way game of chase. A bumblebee had landed nearby, and Clover's gangly form lacked grace and coordination at this point in her life. When the butterfly landed for respite, Clover (overeager and rambunctious) made a mad dash, and took a tumble. She careened and slid on her side, her shoulder running right over the bumblebee who, in its last seconds of life, took the time to sting her.

The cub blinked and looked at her shoulder. Only a beat later did the pain set in, and Clover let out a loud wail of discomfort and confusion. Thus far Clover had not felt any pain in her short life (her parents ensured the cubs were well fed and cared for), and so this was a great shock. But her curiosity overrode her fear of what caused her pain, and Clover took a step toward the fallen striped fuzzy thing, squinting and teary-eyed.

It had been from Fiadh's position on the sidelines that Clover had initially caught her attention. As quickly as she observed what was going on, she jumped to her paws as she found herself eager to get in on the fun. Having no knowledge of what Clover was playing with, Fiadh had no idea of the lingering threat that came with the insect. Just as she began to press ahead to join the game, she saw Clover's demeanor change in posture again as she let out a wail.

Alarmed at the sudden switch in events, Fiadh picked up her pace and rushed to her sister's side with a look of concern. She wondered what had happened to make her sister cry and she knew she had to do something to make the Rho feel better. Once she was beside Clover, Fiadh quickly prompted, "Whuh?!" with a sense of urgency.

Fi arrived beside her, and Clovers ears pricked at her sisters question. Sniffling and weepy-eyed, Clover pointed at the fuzzy insect and bellowed out a BAH! at it, so that her sister would know the thing was "bad", a word she could not properly say yet. She was still learning and had plenty of ways to go as far as correcting her speech went, but she was quite verbose. Thus far she had said no words correctly yet, though when she did use things in correct context she was rewarded with something... it was a good way to learn.

She looked to Fiadh and then looked at her shoulder. The stinger was likely still in it, though if it could be seen she could not tell. Owwwwy, she mourned, ee??? ee?? see? see??? she asked, while turning so Fiadh could get a look for herself.

With Clover's assistance, Fiadh's attention relocated to the nearby suspect. She frowned momentarily then, unable to comprehend why the bee had done such a thing. After all, from her perspective, it had appeared that the two had been having fun. But, of course, this was not the case. Forgetting the dead body for a moment, Fiadh's attention returned to Clover as she attempted to elaborate on what had happened.

More concern came into play as she was directed to the location where Clover had been stung. As she observed, she noticed that there was something that was unrecognizable protruding from her sister's shoulder and at this discovery, she turned back to Clover with her eyebrows lifted. "Owwie?" Fiadh asked in an attempt to confirm her suspicions. After all, it had appeared like she had been motioning to the stinger that Fiadh had discovered.

Clover nodded to her sister, and her glassy-gaze turned back to the bee. Clover huffed and pounced on it, before  she swatted it far away. It would not hurt Fiadh, that was for sure—and fortunately for her, the critter did not have two stingers. Clover waved her tail but frowned again at her shoulder. It still smarted some, and was a bit of a bother. Owwy, she repeated again, disappointed the pain still existed. Mom and dad usually knew what to do when she felt any obnoxious pains, and so Clover rushed in their direction for assistance. Fortunately for her, @Elwood knew just what to do, and after showering him with affection Clover galloped right back to Fiadh with a waving tail. All better!

PP'ing dad, LET ME KNOW IF THIS ISN'T OKAY KIM!!!!

With her undivided attention trained to her injured sibling, Fiadh felt a whine bubble in the back of her throat as she watched on helplessly. Unlike her parents, the child was not one who knew much about fixing boo-boos. Despite this, as she wrecked her tiny brain, it seemed as though Clover had come to the fair conclusion that the only one to remedy the problem was their parents. As her sister went off in pursuit of alleviating her pain, Fiadh staid put and watched.

As if some sorcery had been involved, Elwood solved the issue in a blink of an eye. "Cluh!" she called happily once she realized that everything was okay.

Without thinking twice of whether or not any pain lingered, Fiadh lurched herself forward once Clover was in her range. After all, as far as the Rho was concerned, her sister was all back to normal, and that meant that she was ready to play.

Clover handled things like any child did: with reckless abandon and disregard for self-preservation. The injury had been minor enough that she had forgotten it, and it did not smart. Clover's tail waved as Fiadh came at her, and unexpected as it was the small Clover was bowled over. She protested beneath with a few (harmless) kicks, reaching to grab for an ear.

She did what she could to hold her sister down. Fiadh's milky eyes shone with mirth as she looked down to Clover and observed, her sister kicked and reached up to grab an ear. The foot-driven jabs weren't effective enough to get Fiadh off. Despite this initial miss, Clover had something else up her sleeve that proved to be far more successful in weakening Fiadh's standing. In reaction being grabbed, Fiadh jerked her head sharply with a light-hearted growl in an attempt to free herself.

Ugh! Fiadh wouldn't move! Clover did not stop her wriggling however, and when she grabbed an ear she decided to not release. She let out childish, sharp growls that she hoped would inspire Fiadh to see she was serious. She wasn't serious, of course; this was all play, and her little tail waved like a boat motor beneath her as tangible evidence.

Their match was deadlocked, that much was apparent. Despite this fact, Fiadh persisted as she attempted to keep her position on top of her sister. Now that she had been victorious, she didn't want to give up her crown so quickly! Her drive to do so was only intensified by her sister's reaction to it all. Like Fiadh, Clover seemed to be having fun, and the child wanted to continue this for as long as they would both allow it. Of course, if Clover wanted to stop, Fiadh would respect her sister's wishes. But, for now, she upheld their back and fourth.

With her tail whipping fiercely, Fiadh looked to her sister as she tugged her head again. "Clo!" she giggled good-naturedly, a growl riding the coattails of the exclamation. Even though she was in a less-than-favorable position, she was feeling gutsy.

"Fi win!" I win, na-na, na-na, boo-boo!

Fiadh did in fact win; she had the upperhand, and Clover knew it. Of course hierarchy was not a thing in their not-at-all established lives yet; this was simply done out of good old fashioned fun. Clover loved Fiadh though, and relented—though she huffed at her sisters taunting and narrowed her eyes. It was very easy to read her thoughts: yeah, yeah, yeah, don't get used to it!

Releasing an ear, Clover flailed as best she could again. GERRAOAWO, she protested, now simply wanting Fiadh off of her. She wasn't too grumpy about her loss, but certainly didn't want to lay there defeated.

With Fiadh's declaration agreed upon, the Omicron dismounted her sister with a smile. Though she would not hold this victory over her sister's head for much longer, she decided to have a little fun with it. "Fi best!" she said as she sat at her sister's side.

As fun as rubbing her success in Clover's face was, she quickly decided that she had gloated enough. So, instead of furthering her folly, Fiadh looked to her sister with a mischevious glint in her eyes and prompted, "Pay 'gain?"

When Fiadh was off of her, Clover was now confident enough to disagree with her. Nuh-uh!!! And blew a playful little raspberry. Though moments ago she had relented, now that she was free she would not!! Clover considered Fiadh's offer, and then nodded before springing at her again. For the duration of the day, the two sisters would play with one another. This game, Clover began to chase Fiadh all around their den-site with loud yips to encourage Fiadh to go faster.
