Ocean's Breath Plateau idyllic

A rabbit lay between her paws, the woman herself perched on the edge of the plateau, the ocean wind but a breeze today, pushing the dying grass around her into waves. It was silent, her recent kill having scared off prey activity, leaving only the whispering grass and the breeze that sought to mould it into a replica of the sea. She ate her catch contemplatively, wondering what the coming winter would bring. It would be the first experienced without the guidance of her dáskalos, and the first in the north, where the weather ought to be much harsher. She gnawed thoughtfully on the spine of the creature, thoughts wandering aimlessly.

*steals all the thel threads* mind if this is forward dated slightly? also keeping slightly vague til the ty thread progresses

as usually the scarlet witch works on impulse - though perhaps this time it's tinged with a quiet desperation, a desire to cause some affect of change on her life. she is fickle in her loyalties but the one anchor she has is gone, gone baby gone, so she wills herself to follow the long-legged ranger in lieu. it's a roll of the dice - wolf-pack-politicking is still an alien thing she has no desire to touch but her potential leader's laissez-faire attitude soothed her but slightly.

it was good to put some distance, however small, between the space she last saw juú and herself anyway.

she'd bid weetzie notice before letting herself roam north to the plateau tytonidae sought to claim. on the whole she is largely disinterested in the whole founding thing: it seems dreary and dull and something not worth investing in, best let the wolves to it. the plateau is mostly-empty (she can scent the others ty has collected at the least) but for the form of another woman, a slip of a thing. for a moment the starlet's heart skips for her delicate lines remind her of -- but no, her coloration is all wrong, beautiful as it is. witchbaby begins to hum as she slips closer, heartachey-curious: "y'with the others?"
