All Welcome
Backdated to the night of the Super Blue Blood Moon (31st of Jan)!

A sign! Such a glorious sign! As if curtains for a show, the clouds — dark and heavy with snow — had parted just for this night to reveal the giant blood-red orb hanging in the sky. Oqdis, almost feverish in his hurried gait, made his way up the forested mountainside to catch a glimpse of the spectacular phenomenon. The rocks were slippery with ice and the man stumbled upon them as he raced up the path; but if he were to lose his footing and tumble off the ledge, then so be it. It would be his God's will.

However, the wolf did indeed make it to the top of the ridge unscathed, pausing as he admired the view. It overlooked the Taiga, a land blanketed in snow and tinged with an unearthly colour. It was perfect. He turned to face the moon, larger than it had ever previously been before, and closed his eyes as he drank it in, letting every beam of light it provided hit his weary body. The omen was invigorating.

Curiousity flowed through him as the moon bathed everything in a red tint. It was as if he could touch it. Could he? His eyes sparkled at the thought, and excitement overrode any fear or trepidation of climbing this cliff. Tilting his head, he began to wag his tail as he slipped up the incline. His mother had never told him about this...wonder. Shivering slightly, he stopped and what sounded like a light laugh came bubbling up from his throat. Winters on the farm never bothered him, but this experience had been interesting. And he loved every minute of it. Doing a full body shake, a spark of determination filled his eyes. He needed closer. His paws slipped as he started climbing again, but his curiosity pushed him on.
