I welcome all Creek wolves to come hound on new character K'ramo for trespassing. Be warned, though. He is insane and will try to attack all who approach (probably). He can be quite unpredictable...

The Demon rampaged through the pack's borders without thought. He thirsted for blood and battle and the act of dominating others. It was all he knew. All he had ever known since the beginning. If any one wolf could best him in combat, then he would instantaneously bend his will to theirs - for as long as his mind could remain somewhat stable. He had been traveling for years, trying to find a pack who would take him - but none would because of his insanity. He was almost rabid with bloodlust and the bloodlust was a near-constant thing. It ate at him. He needed it. Craved it. Would go deeper into madness without it. He was not just a warrior at heart. No. He was a Destroyer. And he loved it. It kept him grounded, feeling the sting of wounds on his body, and delivering his own.

So he stood challengingly at the Creek and howled, chest out, tail high, ears erect. He would destroy or be destroyed. And if somehow, by grace of God, who had shunned him, someone within this pack was able to destroy him - K'ramo, Demon of the Dark, he would defend that wolf with his life... At least, until he decided he was bored and turned on them. Friend and foe alike were unsafe around the Beast, for he made no true friends or allies. All were competitors. All were enemies. All were to be dominated. All to be destroyed.

I'd feel most comfortable using the sparring pits for this... unless you just want to assume Fox (and whoever else might show up) is going to win this. <__<

For a moment, Fox was not sure she had heard correctly. But when she checked to ensure that she wasn't dreaming, she let out a snarl and barreled toward the source of the challenging howl. Who had the gall to challenge such a strong pack? It didn't matter, not to the small red yearling who streaked through the countryside like a red arrow to a bullseye. Surely her comrades would hear the challenge as well, and she did not doubt that they would be at her side in an instant.

When Fox was close enough to see the dark male who had so foolishly challenged her mere presence here, she sped faster toward him, teeth bared and hackles raised. She did not stop to question him. She did not slow to give him a chance to attack first. Instead, she aimed to run her body right into his own. It was her intent to plow him over with what little weight she had.

Ooooh yess :>

Danica snarled as she heard a howl go up near the borders of Silvercreek. True, she hadn't been around long, but this was her home now and therefore territorial blood was pounding in her ears. Besides that, sleep hadn't come easily last night and she was in a right foul mood to begin with.

Well, never a better time to let off some steam, she thought with relish. Getting to tear some egotistical intruder apart actually sounded quite nice, really. Turning immediately, she flew in the direction of the call, paws pounding the turf as she lengthened her stride. She wasn't particularly delicate but when she wanted to, Danica could move. Seemed she wasn't the only one who answered the call. Danica's snarl turned into a smirk briefly as she intercepted Fox, also ready to attend to matters in a decidedly violent fashion. Wonderful. Apparently this wolf had a death wish, one that she was in just the right mood to fulfill. Call it charity.

Sparring Pit it is then! That way I can't accidentally powerplay since I consider K'ramo to be the most bad-ass fighting character I have. Although I don't really know how writing responses to this thread will work with a sparring thread also... I've never done it before. And you can start the sparring thread because you attacked first. EDIT: Danica ghost-posted me, so I'm editing in a short response to her post.

K'ramo spotted the tiny she-wolf coming long before she arrived, and his dark eyes narrowed. This was his challenger? This little... thing? Ha! He would ground her into the dirt and feast on her dead body! He growled low in his throat as she charged toward him like a bullet. She was quick and lithe and would be hard to catch, but he was sure he had more stamina than she did. He was a mountain to her, the wind. She could blow at him all she wanted to, but he would not yield. In the end, he would crush her and stand tall.

"Commmmme thennnnn," he rumbled. "Commmme annnnnd DIE!" He roared in her face as she neared him and continued roaring as she plowed into him. He had not moved. There would be no dodging. Only attacking and death. If she somehow beat him, it would be her puny right to end his life right then and there for being defeated by one so small. He would give her that. But if he won, he would take her and tear her to shreds for being stupid enough to challenge him. Either way, he would fight. And that was all he wanted.

So caught up was he in the beginnings of his fight with the little thing of a wolf, he did not even notice the second female that was now charging toward him. Not that it would have mattered either way. He would kill them both. Or they would kill him.

To keep things simple, I'd appreciate it if no others joined this thread!

Fox's eyes flashed to Danica only for a second before they returned to K'ramo. He managed to step aside just in the nick of time, and Fox swore as she stumbled over his outstretched leg. Thankfully, she regained her balance quickly enough as to not damage herself in any meaningful way, and she spun around to see Danica nipping at his foreleg. With a fury in her eyes, Fox charged toward him again, this time opening her jaws to hopefully snap around his haunches.

She wondered what on earth would possess somebody to behave this way. Perhaps he had some kind of raging death wish. Or he was just an idiot. She did not know, and she probably should not have cared in the least. With two wolves against one, the odds were not in his favor. Fox was a seasoned warrior, despite her age and size.

Danica felt only cold elation as she realized that the interloper wasn't paying any attention to her. Well, so be it. With a nasty snarl she shot towards him, jaws opening to snap viciously at his right foreleg. Though he turned in time to avoid some damage, she still felt the satisfying sensation of flesh between her teeth as she tore at him.

He responded in kind with a lunge at her ear, but she was able to twist her head so that his teeth met only air. Just as quickly, she lashed out a forepaw in the direction she knew his face lay. This guy was full blown nuts, it was the only explanation. You couldn't reason with stupid like this. The only solution was for them to thrash him so thoroughly that he would think twice before ever stepping foot in the direction of Swiftcurrent ever again. She figured they were up for the task.

Permission from Isabelle to powerplay K'ramo out of this thread. @Danica, we can go ahead and keep the thread going if you want to get it to 10 posts. :)

Despite his initial death wish, the bellowing male seemed to think better of his options and turned tail to flee the scene. “And stay out, ye bastard!” Fox yelled after him, taking only a few galloping steps forward before slowing to a halt. She couldn't believe the gall of him, and she shook her coat in an effort to smooth down her hackles. Her heart was still racing, and her eyes were bright with the rush of adrenaline, but she had no reason to go after him. It wasn't worth it. He had done little damage to either of the creek ladies.

Fox turned to Danica then, licking her lips. “Thank you,” she said, “I don’t know what was going through his thick skull, but at least you being here scared him off quicker than I alone could have.” Although Fox could often be brash and a bit impersonal, she did value her comrades to a much higher degree than she usually displayed. To show her gratefulness further, Fox touched the girl's neck with her nose affectionately.

It was also good to know that they had another willing warrior in the creek. With Tuwawi's children coming soon, they could use the extra help to keep intruders such as this one at bay.

Awesome, most definitely =]

Danica grinned. "Oh, I'm sure you would have made pretty quick work of him yourself, but I just couldn't sit out on the fun. Thanks though." The praise actually meant more than Danica thought it would. She had a lot of respect for her, and that was not something that often happened. She actually wanted Fox's approval, and getting it made her extremely happy. Of course, some of that too was due to the previous scuffle. She loved a good scrap, especially when they trounced the competition. She returned the contact, showing her respect by giving the leader a quick touch on the chin. It felt strange doing so, but she felt it was necessary.

That had been severely anticlimactic and disappointing, though. He'd quit before it had even gotten good. "Somehow I doubt we'll be seeing him around here again, but just in case, want me to follow?" She'd be more than willing to make sure he didn't double back.

I think this thread happens before the trip to Sunspire...

The young Alpha shook her head. “It’s not worth it,” she replied. He would be torn apart sooner rather than later if he kept up those kind of antics, and she really was not willing to throw away Danica's afternoon chasing some heathen who didn't know the first thing about etiquette or respect. The lady probably had better things to do, and Fox knew she could make herself useful in other ways as well.

“Say… I’ll recommend to Njal that you go with him. He’s making a trip to a neighboring pack who isn’t on the greatest of terms with us. I think he would be happy to have you.” The Sunspire wolves would get what was coming to them, one way or another. Fox sorely hoped that they would take their warning and move quickly, but she also felt it could go either way.

It definitely can ^^ I'll change the order in my chronology

"Alright." She gave the direction one last parting look before training her attention back on Fox. "I'd be honored," she replied, inwardly rejoicing and outwardly smiling. One might think it flattery, but really, she was excited to get some more practice in. A run in enemy territory could only mean trouble in it's purest form. And where there was trouble, one could usually find her, digging in with a gusto.

Feel free to reply once more or just have it archived. :)

Fox stepped forth to brush against Danica, a sign of appreciation, friendship, and affection. She had a good feeling about this one, and Fox could easily see the girl becoming a strong part of the creek. “Come, let’s do a perimeter check to ensure that there aren’t any other crazies out here,” she said, beckoning Danica to follow her. Of course, if the girl refused, that would not offend the yearling leader. She could understand not wanting too much excitement in one day. Either way, Fox wanted to continue to make sure nobody breached the border.

Thanks lovely!!!!

"Gladly," Danica answered, following. If she had known what Fox was thinking she would have laughed out loud. Too much excitement? There was no such thing.

Instead, though, her thoughts were mulling over the prospect of the task which Fox was going to give her. A fine chance to prove herself, if she played her cards right. She was going to like this place, she could already tell. Maybe this was going to work out after all.
