All Welcome
It seemed her trip had been for naught for soon after her arrival, Grezig departed. Uruuk was a little surprised that her sister hadn't even come to say goodbye or explain where she was going. They had just been reunited after all, Uruuk had traveled all this way just to find her siblings and joined a random pack just to be close to her older sibling.

Uruuk couldn't even find it in her to be mad. It was becoming clear that since her own travels, since Grezig's migration to Teekon, that things had changed. The Beta was not the sister she remembered but Uruuk supposed she'd have to accept that.

There was no sense in wasting her time worrying about her sister or being hurt by her actions, not when Grezig clearly wasn't thinking about her. (Okay, maybe it did sting a little.)

Still, the she-wolf was determined to remain optimistic. It seemed to her that the best way to move on was to immerse herself in pack life, get to know her new pack mates.

So, with the sun warming her cinnamon coat and the chilly autumn breeze to keep her cool, Uruuk padded through the forest towards the heart of the territory. She knew the atrium to be there but she wasn't quite comfortable sleeping within its walls yet. She didn't really know the other wolves and felt odd sleeping amongst the familial group.

The evergreens remained...well, green, but the deciduous trees on the plateau had changed with the coming of autumn. A riot of gold, deep red, fiery orange, gentle yellow, and rich brown leaves formed a canopy overhead - some of the leaves coating the ground alongside brown pine needles.

The air was fresh, cold, and smelled richly of autumn as Uruuk neared the caverns - inhaling deeply to steel her nerves with the sweet air.
