@Reiner, here it is! Sorry again, and thanks for understanding
When the slightest signs of habitation became too clear to ignore Julep decided that that was really as far as she would go. She didn't really have a way to explain why she'd allowed herself to go this far, but her most recent encounters and the way she was feeling may have had something to do with her weakness. She didn't want to go back to Stavanger bay where she knew she would only find abandonment and disappointments like so many times before, but still the pull of her memories were proving too hard to fight back.
But she turned around and started walking the other way, knowing well that Rusalka had much more to offer than any other crew she had ever been a part of. She avoided the sea lion territories, too familiar to the stench to allow herself to go through it again, but she never strayed too far from the coast, never went far enough inland that she couldn't see those beautiful, soothing waves.

Of course! I should have asked beforehand tbh, so I'm sorry about that, too. Thank you for starting for us :D ❤
Sea lions were real. Even to the veteran, they were a figment of imagination; a creature from wannabe pirate stories that travelers told children and women. His orange eyes linger on the strange creatures in the distance. The Bull never gets close, knowing full well that messing with the unknown is a fool's death. His massive paws sink into the soft sand, caring not to tread lightly over it, as he strode northward... following the coast. His goal to simply map the terrain, to know where each and every place is, and who inhabited it.
He ends up lucky again, for he hears the soft footfalls of another marching in the same direction. Ahead, a woman. Seems like she is enjoying the scenery, too. His approach is noisy, lacking the grace the sellsword would display on the battlefield. He cares not, for the people here have been soft thus far.

Trying to ignore the sea creatures' roaring and turmoil in the distance, Julep had set a course that would take her back to Rusalka in no more than a day of travel. She had been away too long and she was too new within the crew to take such liberties and expect there to be no retaliations. She had found many things in her little trip that she was not expecting to find, and still, she hadn't seen the end of it yet.
At first she didn't notice, but as the sound of his footsteps grew louder, Julep turned to find a bull of a male trailing right behind her. The only reasonable reaction to such a situation was to run away and save your goddamn life. But Julep wasn't exactly reasonable these days. She stopped right in her tracks and turned to face him with a growl and a look that said 'approach at your own risk'.
