All Welcome
sunlight falls through the canopy, scattering on the ground all around. wind moves the aspens, and drives away the few clouds clinging to the great expanse of blue above. the girl steps lightly alongside the lake, driven partly by hunger and partly by curiosity. from the shoulder's down, the fur is slicked to her sides, pond scum and bits of vegetation stuck still too her limbs. it's the only sign of her previous failed hunt (a rush at the duck further out on the lake than she'd thought) but she's not dissuaded; another opportunity will present itself, sometime.

She had been patrolling the outer territories for potential prey. She had made her daily trip to the caches and wanted to wander a bit farther than normal so that she could find something to sustain her. She noticed another and gave a low chuff. “Hello.” She said simply.
