@Thistle Cloud can you join me? I would like to thread with you
edit: fixing character name tag

Through the moist forest, Yuda had few thoughts cross his mind. He noted that the air was thick and that it mildly annoyed him, but he mostly did not care. Another notice was posted briefly that the trees thinned significantly as he roamed on into simply shades of a short green rug that presented itself underfoot while the forest was left behind.

A few moments were settled into staring forward into a superfluous amount of water that spilled into a grass colored the same as his belly. Noise was produced from the giant beast. The young, directionless male then moved to his left to down part of narrow flow of cool liquid that gave itself into the neverending water that covered the earth. Looking up, muzzle dripping, the darkened boy gave what would be considered to him a sigh — a minute change to his intake of air, yet breathed out normally.

Yuda moved across the skipping water, which came halfway up his fur — the place where the grey blended into the black upon his frame. When the short trek was complete, the boy did not take the time to rid himself of the dribbling nectar of the river. He briefly collected a thought that said shaking himself out would be simply a waste of time.

His charcoal paws briefly touched the beige grass, which was not at all similar to the green substance that lay behind him. Sinking abruptly into the grit, his mind didn't quite strike interest in the matter and he continued forward, mindlessly following the gentle curves of the texture felt on the pads of his feet — not quite the color green, not quite the color beige.

Thistle had strayed from her borders yet again, her restless paws taking her on a journey that only they knew. She would occasionally drop her head to sniff at the crabs that crawled sideways at her feet, with their multicolored shells and their beady little eyes. She would shift away some seaweed to check underneath it for any baubles or trinkets she could take back to her children, or her sister wife. After all Nerian deserved pretty things too, especially when Thistle could be less than pretty to her at times.

Small petite paws left tiny foot prints in the sand, that the water quickly, and greedily swallowed up as it came in from it's wake. The water touched her paws, leaving the very tips of her paws and legs damp and sandy. Blue eyes of the deepest azure were wide open and taking in the world around her. Fall was coming, but it was not here yet.

Lifting her nose to the air she sniffed, smelling another nearby she stopped moving to look around. Her eyes came upon a young male coming across the water divide. She chuffed to let him know she was there, and then she waited wary, for fear she may have to run and run she would.

A greeting reached the vessels attached to Yuda's head. A greeting which resonated through the bones like the hum of a musical instrument. And just as the string was plucked, the sound was gone. These could described the senses, the emotions, even the attention span, so to speak (it was more apathy than anything), that made up the young wolf who was not lost, but wandering.

So, the male, being disinterested in another social interaction, moved forward as if he hadn't heeded the acknowledgement of the female who had attempted to embrace his presence, and mostly likely held a desire to know who he was. This wouldn't happen, though. Yuda inconveniencing himself was not a possible option or action that would beckon — it was not that the juvenile would actively pursue rude operations, it was simply that he did not care. Apathy was his natural state, after all.

Thistle stared the male did not answer her, did not even acknowledge her greeting. How rude was her first thought, but then she wondered if perhaps he just couldn't hear her. After all the biologically father of her children had been mute, why couldn't another be deaf. So with a determined step she moved closer, because now she was infinitely curious.

She blocked his path and stared at him with bright blue eyes. Granted if he really wanted to brush past her he could, but she was not going to tamper her curiosity this time. She stared at him for a moment more and then spoke You know if you can't hear that's one thing ,but if you are just ignoring me regardless of anything that is very rude.

Yuda stopped. It had many possibilities in the mixture of one action. He could have easily stepped around her and acted as if she never existed. The sandy female would probably happen upon thoughts of who the boy was now and again, but any memory of the she-wolf hadn't been held by the male in the first place. Out of sight, out of mind was the exact descriptor of Yuda's ingrained behavior; he was neither aware, nor unaware of things such as these, but in any form or state, as usual, he did not care.

This leads to even more acknowledgement. Demon eyes connected with those created by the heavens. Perhaps there could be no more opposition in two other wolves. Intrigue brushed upon the brain, for confrontation was solely used within the dismantled, no, dilapidated, even more so destroyed, clan and pack he was pledged to (though pledging was a choice, unlike his being a way of life and no more).

"You are bold." A favor dipped its hand and dusted the taupe one that was a wall to the path he'd been set upon. That was free, a badge of courage gaining a small stab of respect, yet more words would be earned, if even possible.

Thistle studied the male in front of her, and frankly she wondered if he was all there. And his black eyes did not exactly make her all warm and gooey, more or less they scared the crap out of her. However, she held her ground, she sensed no ill intent from him. He may just be damaged goods, and she found though he was rather scary he was intriguing and she was curious.

Thistle smirked softly I have been called worse so i'll take it. So tell me quiet one, why so aloof? You walk through these lands as if you will be set upon by no one and nothing? Then she sat there and she waited, her petite self not taking up to much room, and there was still more than enough room for the black eyed male to go around her if he wished.

Two emotions popped quickly to Yuda's physical features: curiosity and agitation. Before they quickly burst into spray, and then into nothingness as if they never existed, another two things happened: the dark youth tilted his head in the slightest, and the slightest hint of something that was a mixture of a glare and a narrowing of the brow (on only the left side of his face), but mostly the latter, appeared. Although they were small, and though they fell away quickly, they still showed themselves, which meant that this pissed off Yuda.

Words always presented themselves like a brook tumbling over the pebbles and sand that intercede its path — smooth, gritty, and quick. It was rare that the midnight sky did not strongly contemplate and consider the vocal wisps that left his mouth. This was no exception, though he thought a bit longer this time, for he did not exactly know what to say. He was compelled to respond, which never occurred. Normally, the words that were to be spoken were sat upon for long moments, yet Yuda could not piece together even a direction in which to go with said words.

In short, no one had ever been defiant, demanding, and kind all at once. The words were raw and true, standing in their most honest form.

"I do not know." The boy felt just that — a lost boy unsure of his path. The son of the backside of the moon was just as in the dark as the color of his eyes. Yes, he knew his clan and pack were torn to pieces, but he did not know where to turn. He knew he would never let anyone in. The still growing male knew that. He never would, nor would he touch thought of even doing so. He was cold, he was dark. And this darkness far outshone the blackness of the night sky, and even the opposing end of the crevice in the sky.

Thistle noticed the minute facial expressions that played across the youthful male's face, in mere seconds. Curiosity followed by agitation, some of the feelings that Thistle invoked in many. She was a curious individual and she probably drove her husband crazy and caused him severe agitation. Then he just looked angry and she wondered why. She had not done anything, but be friendly and then curious.

He was quiet for a few long moments and she wondered if he was a slow thinker, or if he just didn't feel like talking. She kept her tongue quiet though and simply waited patiently for his words. If she was thinking it would be pleasant and conversation, she was very wrong. The pleasantries and the conversation were sorely lacking, especially when he merely uttered a four word sentence. If she had been expecting a lot, she was wrong and disappointed.

Thistle raised a brow, Well that's a quandary isn't it? You don't know why you are aloof or why you are not worried? She blew gently out of her nose and merely studied him. I'm Thistle Cloud.
