@Danica Set before the thread with Scimitar.

At least the cobwebs hadn't fallen off yet. That was pretty much the only good thing happening to him right now. Green eyes stormy as he shook his pelt, blood drops flew in all directions with a mixture of dry blood. His only reaction though was to twitch his nose, it was actually painful to have bleeding wounds and walking at the same time but did he have a choice? Yes and he chose this path. Paws sank into a patch of muddy ground and he grimaced, as if he wasn't dirty enough. The agouti wasn't really that dirty as he had washed in a nearby stream before arriving at the wetlands, most of his pelt was clean but he doubted that it would be the same when he left this place.

Expressionless, he decided there was no valid reason why he should avoid the wet patches when he was dirty already so he strode straight into the wetlands. Sea green eyes scanned the route in front of him with concealed wariness wondering if there were any wolves here, waiting for him and then pouncing on him, sinking their fangs into his body. He resisted the urge to flinch as the memory came rushing back, nearly pulling him out of his conscious but he was stronger than that. Though it might take a bit of time to put that aside as the past, he was sure that he was able to do that later.

He had not found any trace of his brother yet but he was sure he was on the right track. Just by instinct and how he had managed to find the sea on his way here for that meant Neptune must be guiding him. There was something about this place that made him feel uneasy but he couldn't pinpoint the feeling. The Roman paused in his footsteps.

quick reply to get this in my threadlog!!

It seems she was a glutton for punishment, for last time she was here she had meet up with a Creek wolf, and yet here she was, back again. She could understand the appeal of outriding a bit now, not that she wanted the title for herself. It was nice getting a glimpse at how others outside of your own were doing, for curiosity's sake. Not that she cared overly much about their fates outside of the friends she still had scattered about. She barely had the energy for caring for her own pack mates.

She stopped when she heard another nearby, pinpointing his location. Creek? No, in fact no pack scent pervaded here. So a loner, and a possibly injured one by the smell of blood that he carried.

Determining a lone, unaffiliated wolf as a low threat, she approached him, noting the injuries still visible. "Hasn't anyone ever told you, in a fight, your supposed to kick the shit out of the other guy, not the other way around?" She intoned by way of greeting, a small smirk telling of her jesting nature. He seemed familiar, though she couldn't place it.

The Roman turned swiftly, with grace towards a golden female, the scent of a pack on her and something else. His brother's scent, she had met him not long ago, it seems, though he did not reveal anything of his find as the female spoke, "Hasn't anyone ever told you, in a fight, your supposed to kick the shit out of the other guy, not the other way around?" a small smirk decorating her features. Now his brother wasn't a bad teacher, in fact he was a brilliant one, leading the young Greek Roman to sound almost exactly like Hadrian when he spoke sarcastically.

"Well, it wasn't really a fight. Merely consisted of a three year older man beating up a kid not even a year old. But thanks for telling me that piece of valuable information that will save my life later, sis." he drawled slowly, a smirk gracing his features as he did so. The trademark Angelus Mortis glint evident in his sea green eyes when he spoke. Little did he know that he was acting and speaking almost the exact same way as Hadrian did.

sorry! and sorry again for shortness >< dah

It was the sis that did it. Instantly Danica's mind clicked to who the male reminded her of and she somewhat had to do a double take. "Holy hell, you know you sound just like a friend of mine. Super annoying, always calls me sis." She shook her head, dismissing it slightly. Seriously, though, what were the odds. "And you are most welcome. See, that's why you play it smart and don't pick fights you can't win." Totally hypocritical of her, seeing as she did so all the time, but she wasn't the one discussing odds here.

"Holy hell, you know you sound just like a friend of mine. Super annoying, always calls me sis." Scipio's brow creased, could it be possible that her friend was his brother? No, it didn't seem right but perhaps....just maybe, he was here. "And you are most welcome. See, that's why you play it smart and don't pick fights you can't win." a sarcastic, mischievous smirk spread across his face, sea green eyes gleaming with amusement. "I suppose you don't pick fights you can win, hmm? And besides, I didn't pick a fight, my bastard father decided to pound me into a pulp for his own amusement, great dad eh?" His father was a great wolf indeed, a great asshole.

Seriously though, who the hell would try to kill their own kid just because they weren't paying attention for a millisecond! That wolf deserved to burn in the pits of Tartarus. None of his internal anger showed though, instead the troublemaker smirk covered his face, mischievousness in his eyes, none of the pain and anger he felt was visible.

Danica snorted. "I don't believe in fights I can't win. Not with other wolves, at least." It didn't matter that she'd lost most of the fights she had gotten into... she still went into each expecting to win.

She understood shit parents, though. Her father hadn't attacked her, but he had watched silently while her former Alpha had, so was it much better? "I'm starting to think most parents are bastards in some way. You rarely hear about the good ones." It was far more prevalent to hear stories of awful family lives than good ones. Njal and Tuwawi were a rarity when it came to caregivers.

Scipio wondered if this female knew his brother, she had said something about him reminding her of a friend, annoying and always called her sis. He did not dare to believe it, but could it possibly be his brother? Hadrian liked calling other wolves brothers and sisters even if they weren't related to him. For example he would go up to one of his friends in the pack (rare since he was to be the next Imperator until he left) and say something like "Hey bro!" Oh, Neptune, the longing nearly knocked the breath out of the yearling. But as a master of emotion, none of what he was feeling shone through and he maintained the amused, sarcastic, troublemaker smile.

"Lets not talk about parents, cause mine were shit, never knew my mom because she was a slave and dad raped her then threw her to the woman to do whatever they did. Only ever knew my father and he was bad enough. My brothers were great though, especially one of the oldest ones." he said, his smile never breaking. "Have you ever met him? He taught me well, in everything. His name's Hadrian," he paused. "Or maybe you know him as Shadow? A silver furred wolf with platinum eyes?" it took all he had within him to push the childish hopefulness in his voice away.

Danica listened to the rant, now thoroughly amused. "Y'know, for someone who doesn't want to talk about parents, you sure do go on." She hadn't asked for, nor did she want, his life story. Juicy a tale as that may be. She heard the news about Shadow and she shook her head. Of course he was. Of course.

"Yeah, I know him. I saw him a while ago, though it has been some time. He's got his own pack now, somewhere." She hadn't gotten a location from him when they spoke. She didn't even remember if she'd gotten a name for the lands. "Can't help you much more than that."

"Yeah, I know him. I saw him a while ago, though it has been some time. He's got his own pack now, somewhere." he grinned now, he had finally gotten some information from someone. A flicker of satisfaction coursed through him, he had finally gained something, so his brother did reside in these lands. Scipio sent a quick prayer to Mercury and his patron Neptune for their help.

"How was he the last time you saw him? Has he changed? What kind of wolf is he?" he asked with a curious cant of his head, sea green eyes searching, though a genuine smile touched his face this time. Finally his journey might have came to an end.

wrap this with your next post? Or we can just archive ^^ sorry about the waits!

He seemed keenly interested in news of his brother, though Danica had little to offer. She guessed as an only child she couldn't really understand his drive, though she saw no harm in humoring him. "He was well enough when I saw him. Like I said, claimed a land somewhere, though where exactly somewhere is I can't say. As for changed, I can't really say, seeing as I don't have a baseline." Duh. "If he was a sarcastic prick before, then probably not." She said this with full affection and expected Shadow wouldn't mind the terms.

"If you find him, tell him Danica said hello. And that he's an ass." She shook her head. "As for me, I have more important things to do than hunting down lost siblings. Good luck." She'd leave him to his search and continue with her pointless wanderings. Perhaps not more important, per say, but definitely preferable.
