All Welcome
The first puppy playdate at the sunrock! At week 5, puppies can take short trips away from the den with a parent. Lorelai and Violante will be posting after all the puppies. Hoping for all the puppies and maybe @Avery if you want to have dad join in!

Lenora bounced along eagerly after her mother and Violante; all of the puppies were out and exploring fully for the first time. Today they were heading to the sunrock, where it was promised they could play and run around properly — they'd all been getting in trouble for running through the tunnels.

Asara raced alongside the other puppies as fast as her legs would go. Her tongue lolled outside her mouth as her tail wagged furiously. Her body was grateful to be getting the much needed exercise it finally needed.

She couldn't help playfully bumping into her siblings and the other pups, trying to slow them down to be the first one to their destination.

The day had been a conundrum of excitement and raucous energy all around. All the pups were thrilled to be outside the den for the first time - though the tunnels had been home to them all their short lives thus far, the sights and smells of the dank underground were no match for the pull of the Great outdoors. Lennox's eyes were wide with wonder, and her ears swiveled feverishly this way and that to pick up every sound, every whisper, though it nearly overwhelmed her in its ferocity. Compared to the den... this world seemed like it had to be limitless in its enormity. She hung close to her mother's side, trying rather unsuccessfully to avoid Asara's attempts to slow her and the other pups down.

Avery tried his best to keep all of the pups corralled. This stroll was proving to be more of a challenge than he was expecting.

He was enjoying the opportunity to see their personalities beginning to form. The brave and carefree, the more cautious and needing of reassurance, and everything in between.

And then there was Asara. He made a mental note to keep an eye on her as she bullied her way through to the front of the pack. He hoped it was a behavior she'd soon grow out of.

Violante had not made much in the way of friends — she was quiet, and brooding at times, and far too hot-headed for her sister's antics. But as they travelled to the sunrock, little Violante caught sight of Lennox, clinging close to her mother. The melanistic whelp bounded forward, then slipped into a proud sort of walk as she fell into step beside the other girl. "Hello. I'm Violante... the second!" She was proud, to share her mother's name and, hopefully, eventual beauty. Whenever Asara got close now, Violante would bare her teeth and growl, to protect the shyer girl from her sister.

Vale was quickly growing into a quiet, stoic phase, especially as they were introduced to the other pups. He stayed closer to his mother, mostly to avoid Asara's antics and Violante's moodiness. As they all approached the clearing of the sunrock, however, he edged forward bravely, tail held high and waving as he scented the air. It smelled quite normal, so Vale rushed forward into the clearing first and gave a victorious cry.

Violante was one of the last ones to enter the clearing. Her son had rushed forward, her miniature was attempting to make friends, and as usual, Asara was being a nuisance. And the Vicera was just tired. Raising a litter was proving to be one of the hardest things she'd ever done. Even so, she smiled at all of the assembled children, then rolled her eyes, chuckling softly.

Skippable! She's just observing from the background.

Lorelai hung at the back of the group with Violante, wide eyes flicking from pup to pup nervously; they'd never been so far from the den, and definitely not with so many. But, that was why there were so many adults. Lorelai gave a quiet sigh, then ushered the rest of the pups towards the sunrock's clearing before settling off to the sidelines to watch the pups play.

Lenora rushed into the clearing after Vale, and she immediately tried to climb the boulder in the center of it; she looked down at the others, crying joyously, "I'm King of the Sunrock!" At least until one of her cousins or her sister knocked her down.

Asara rushed into the clearing alongside everyone else and found it to be kind of boring actually. Instead of climbing the rock she decided to take advantage of the extra space and continue running, even if she could only run laps around the large rock in the center. She made a game of it, weaving through the other pups and even the adults, trying to get someone to chase her.

Grateful that Asara hadn't actually knocked Lenora off the sun rock like he assumed she would, Vagabond indulged her in a chase around the clearing. "Does anyone else feel like we're going to be awfully busy running after these pups?" Vagabond asked the other adults over his shoulder as he ran past.

This is the last from V II.

Their party rushed into the clearing. Lenora got to the rock first, while Asara ran laps and Vale shouted a victorious cry. Violante grinned once more at her other cousin Lennox, then bounded after her sister and father. She would chase and play until the eventually collapsed, and the adults called an end to their adventure.

Last from Vale!

Vale was happy to be out and about, especially with essentially his entire family. He would chase his sisters and cousins, snapping playfully at their heels. He would go until he no longer could, and flopped over in the shade, panting. He watched his sisters and cousins play while he rested.

Violante knew they would be busy, what with so many pups and most of them having much spirit and the desire to wander. It would be hard, certainly, but they would make it through, because that was the Cruor way. Violante would keep a close eye on her growing family as they played, but eventually, she called for them all to gather. "It is time to return home, my loves. Come along, now."

Their play had been fun, if a little too short for Lenora's liking. She could play for hours if she wanted, and she only made a small fuss as her aunt called them all back. Under her mother's watchful gaze, she fell into step beside her sister and cousins.

last from me!

Asara wasn't ready to go home yet, she was having too much fun. "I don't wanna go yet!" She grumbled, she climbed up and down the sun rock, and she zoomed throughout the clearing now. Truthfully she was growing tired, but nobody had to know that!

last from Vagabond

Vagabond easily caught up with Asara, cutting off her path, he nudged her into line with the rest of the pups. She was definitely a stubborn one. At least the rest were falling into step readily enough. "Asara, when mom says it's time to go home, you must listen, come now sweet one." He gave her a gentle scolding. He would near her to make sure she stuck with the group and made it home safely.
