In light of our ongoing issues with profiles and other areas of the site, we'd like to take some time to upgrade the MyBB software. We will be doing this on October 22nd, beginning at 10am. If everything goes smoothly, the board should be back up and running in a matter of an hour or two... but wishes don't always come true. Below is a rough plan of what we will do.
— Lock the forum.
— Backup site files.
— Backup database.
— Install updates.
— Check to make sure everything looks and runs smoothly.
— Come back online.
If you are currently having issues saving your profile or on other areas of the site, we have found that removing parenthesis (especially when on the same line as multiple instances of MyCode) seems to resolve the problem in most cases.

The forum upgrade went smoothly! I am not sure if this will fix our server errors, but it was sorely needed. :)
