Snow fell upon his nose.
His eyes widened, and a wide smile formed upon his mouth. His legs, all stiff and leaning for the sky as his tail lifted high! He'd never seen the white fall from the sky before. The wiggling of his tail was aggressive before he was bounding around the glen with kicks for the sky.
Laughter bubbled in his lungs, the fill of them a joy on its own, and the snow a loving hand to guide him through it. The shake of his head through it made him all dizzy, and the world spun like a kaleidoscope of colors unseen!

she'd circled the display a few times, amused by the grazer's yearling joy at these little natural wonders. would've been cute, if she didn't see in it an opportunity.
