He had left as soon as Bazi had promised to make her way to the boys for a distraction. His hefty paws moved with a ferocity that was spurned only further by the simple fact that the pack's world had quickly been crashing down around them -- and this was the final straw that would finally bring him to full action. With Paar's assumed death, Shadow snaking around their territory, the distinct and revolting scent of wet dog and Blackfeather Woods constant attention, Scimitar had hit the brink of rage with no return.

His strides were lengthy, and while the journey was longer, he arrived to the 'scene of the crime.' He could scent Bazi here.. and the stench of Blackfeather Woods. With his lips curling back to flash a snarl, the male lowered his nose, beginning to trail the scent of the swarthy wolf who had laid paw to his queen.

Crescendo blinked his eyes open. The stench of Swiftcurrent creek was strong once again, and Crescendo could make out the shape of a brute through the foliage. Soundlessly, he stood, and approached the newcomer through the battle. As he approached, he suddenly recognized the figure. Scimitar, the alpha of the sheep pack. And wreathed around him was the heavy scent of the girl. His smile faded a bit. So it was the alpha's mate he had-almost-fucked? Oh well.

"Hey Scimi!" Crescendo called out to the male he towered over. "Your girl and I, we had a great time! You should have been there!" His voice was gloating and light, but his eye's were the opposite.

If you want to start an attack at the sparring pit, you can. :) Or I can.

There was no question that his opponent had been found. The scent that had clung so grotesquely to his almost mate was thick in the air, and soon the swarthy male lumbered to his paws. Scimitar recognized him from the battle, and his one good ear flickered forward to listen as the wolf gave a faux jovial greeting.

"I didn't catch your name at our last meeting," he drawled, his large frame lumbering forward and beginning to slow. "But it doesn't matter. I have a message for you to give to your Alpha.." His words faded then, his limbs shifting as he braced himself for battle. There was no question as to what would happen here -- his muzzle thrust lower to protect his nape, his lips pulled back to flash his yellowing teeth to his opponent. "Come closer and I'll tell you," he mused, his tail giving a lash through the air as he waited. One single movement from the ebony wolf and Scim would launch -- his muscles tensed.

Crescendo's eyes were to flat disks, cold and dark, calculating. "Look, Scimi, I know you're here to play knight and defend your girls honor and all, but I really don't have time for this." There was a matter he had to tend to. Well, more of a girl then a matter really. "Why don't you go attack that tree over there? Maybe this time, you'll win!" Crescendo's muscles bunched under his pelt, preparing to leap out of the way or lunge. He felt the tips of his teeth with his tongue, his eyes beginning to flare with battle lust. His plan was to make this alpha so angry his attacks would be ill thought out, weak.
