After meeting Calipso and both of them agreeing to travel together, so life wouldn't be so lonely, the golden male set off to the coast. Today he was alone, as the male still needed his time to processes his thoughts. He wandered along, yet another pack's boarders, being his normal self, not wanting to cause trouble. The smell of the sea burned his sensitive nose, and he snorted out nothing but air, as it continued to bother him.

Trotting along the boarder he stopped to rest. His winter coat was heavy, and often bothered the male, however he looked much stronger now than he does in summer. Looking up into the sun, he squinted before returning his gaze upon the invisible boarder. Debating to enter the territory was tempting, however he couldn't risk being attacked, even if he was larger and stronger than the average wolf.

I hope this is an AW thread, haha, if not I'll delete this! ^_ ^

As fascinating as winter was, Atreyu couldn't wait for summer to return. He missed rolling in the mud and, while his coat was thick enough to protect him from the harsh winds, it was more suitable for the milder temperatures that the warmer months brought. The heavens seemed to taunt him with hints of spring, letting the sun peak through the clouds that obscured the sky, the wind easing occasionally to a casual breeze. The boy lazed by the ocean, rubbing sand and grit into his coat to itch the fleas that had taken up permanent residence in his fur.

He was content to simply spend the rest of the afternoon there, but a foreign scent caused him to jolt upright, ears pricked and his lip lifting into a territorial snarl. He quickly rose to his paws and loped towards where the smell was coming from, finding the would-be intruder lurking about the borders. For a second, he thought he had run into Aesop and was about to ask him why he smelt different, but the stranger's eyes were not green — instead they were a deep but piercing brown. Hackles bristling, the boy came to a stop at a distance, eyeing up the incredibly imposing stranger. He readied himself to request for backup, should he prove to be hostile.

"You have business here?" he called, trying to appear intimidating, though he couldn't hide the excitement in his eyes. This was his very first border intervention.

Your good ;)

Watching the boarder, a shadow appeared in the distance. You could tell by scent that it was one of the pack's wolves and prayed that he would be friendly. "You have business here" the strange male asked, and the golden male pondered on the question. Did he have business here, or was he just passing by? Perhaps he did in fact have a reason to be at the pack's boarders.

The male was a creamy-white color, a lighter shade than Adimar himself. "I was just wandering, looking for a possible pack to join." It was true, he was hoping to join a pack, but wanted to get to meet each pack before deciding, surely a decision that would last awhile.

Editing in an ending!

Atreyu's stance remained defensive, his tail half-curled around his back as he regarded the stranger warily. He was built like both Ragnar and Aesop, younger perhaps, but with the muscle that rivalled a boar. He found himself slightly nervous — if the man was aggressive he would have no trouble taking down the smaller pack wolf. Still, the yearling held his ground, intent on gleaning any information he could on the foreigner. He wasn't a Warden, but he liked to think himself just as capable.

After a pause, the male then answered. Atreyu lifted his head, his posture relaxing slightly. "Oh..." he breathed. "Well, this is Stavanger Bay." He hesitated, wondering how exactly he was meant to go about this. Was he suppose to persuade him that the Bay was the best place ever? Did they even have room? Ultimately, he knew it was Thistle's job to size up possible members, but this stranger seemed healthy enough and would definitely be an asset to the pack. He wondered if he could talk him into joining. "And I'm Atreyu."

After receiving the other man's name, Adimar, he explained he was simply passing through, scoping out possible packs. Atreyu attempted to put in a few good words for Stavanger Bay, hoping it would entice the large stranger. Soon, though, Adimar headed back off down the coast after a brief farewell and the boy, after watching him leave, turned on his heel and strode back into the territory.
