@Bindi
The golden fae still did not know why she had been kind to the male, but she was happy she had done so. With a partner, her hunger was less so, and her loneliness vanquished long ago. They had traveled together for a few days now, and Calipso often shot glances toward the male, watching him. She refused to play love struck school girl, so kept their interactions so-far friendly, nothing more.

Today's travels had brought them closer to the source of the steam that Calipso had wondered about, the source were a series of hot pools. A wise wolf in her pack had told her something about lava and layers and crusts, but Calipso did not know the finer details of the science. She wished she had listened to the pack mate, who's knowledge was by now far gone.

Reaching the edge of one of the small pools, she tested the water carefully with one paw. Hot. Delightfully so. She must remember this place. She looked toward @Adimar, wondering what he thought of the strange pools.

They had been traveling for a few days now, and Adimar gladly accepted her presence. He followed the female to a place he had not been to yet. Pools of water surrounded them, with steam radiating off of them. He knew that the steam was due to the cold air mixing with a hot substance, and it turned out the substance was the water. He watched as Calipso dipped her paw in the water, and she didn't seem bothered by it, so the golden male did the same.

The water was enjoyable, and helped with his slightly sore paws. "How is the water able keep warm in this freezing weather" he asked. He knew why the steam was appearing, but had no idea, how water could stay warm, when it should be frozen.

Calipso smiled at Adimar. "A wise wolf told me that the ground we stand on is many layers. One of those was called...ummm...anyway, it was something very hot. The heat escaped from it's special layer because of cracks in the layers above it, and the escaped heat warms pools like these." she shrugged. "But then again, it could all be made-up."

She couldn't remember the story very well, and didn't care. Bunching her muscles under her coat, she leaped right into the middle of the pool, and for a few moments was submerged as she fought her way back up to the surface. When she did break into the open, the air felt twice as cold as it had been. The pool, though small, was deep, and small pebbles littered the bottom.

He listened very carefully to his compainion's explaination, but it was all very confusing. Everything she said went in one ear and out the other, but the male gave a nod acting like he understood her. The golden male watched as Calipso leapt for the water, and he watched waiting for her to surface from the pool's depths. He became a little worried when she didn't surface at first, but was glad when he saw her face rise from the depths.

Adimar would have joined the female, but he knew once he came out of the water, he would practically freeze to death. Besides the golden male had a winter coat that would make him a lot heavier, and would make it hard to swim. He sat on his haunches and watched his compainion, she certainly was a tough one if she could stand the bitter cold while soak and wet.

After drifting through the hot waters blissfully for a few moments, she scrabbled out next to her companion. She took a few steps away as not to get him wet and shook herself, tiny droplets flying from her pelt and freezing soon after they touched the snow. She shook with cold, and bunched her limbs under her as she sat next to Adimar.

"W-would you like to find a place to spend the night?" she asked him. A warm den sounded very inviting right now. She shifted closer to him, trembling with cold. "That may have been stupid," she mused.

Adidas watched as his pale companion exited the water and shook her fur off to the ditance. When she can over to him and started trembling, he moved closer to her till he was slightly leaning on her, however held his weight up not wanting to knock her back into the water. He hoped his fur would give a little warm to Calipso. "Yea, that probably wasn't the best idea" he said with his deep voice, along with a chuckle. However his pale companion was right, she needed a warn den, or she would freeze to death out here.

Standing up he went in search for a den, and called for Calipso to stay close. It wasn't long before he found an abandon den, underneath a fallen tree. "This should do" he said satisfied with the den he found. He looked over to the pale wolfess, unsure if he was allowed in the den or not. He had found it for her and not himself, so if she didn't want him inside, he would sleep outside the den entrance.

Calipso chuffed gratefully as Adimar leaned closer to her, providing her with warmth. Soon, the two went in search of a den, Calipso sticking to his side as they went. Finally, Adimar found one under a fallen log, and the golden fae promptly slipped into it.

Adamir stopped, hesitant, at the entrance. Her heart softened for the kind male, and on a whim invited him into the small den, just big enough for two. Any warmth was welcome, especially if it came from the golden male.

Once he was inside the den, the golden male entered and lay close to the entrance in an attempt to block any cold air from entering. He rest his head on his paws and closed his eyes while taking a deep breath. It felt nice to have someone beside him in the den, even if they were soak and wet. The den was cozy and comfortable, a relaxing place to spend the night.

The wind whirled around outside, and Adimar looked up into the sky that grew darker every second. He would have had to spend a night like this alone if it weren't for Calipso. He looked over at his companion and felt bad for her, it must have been really cold coming out if the water. "Lesson learned, don't jump into water when it's winter" the golden male said with a quiet laugh, and prayed the female didn't take it in a bad way.

Calipso chuckled softly, looking at the huge male that warmed the den and blocked the cold. But he was more then that. No. She couldn't think about that now. But then again...

"Lesson two: When deciding to ignore lesson one, make sure to bring a companion, preferable one that you like."

The beautiful fae inched closer to Adimar, then set her head on her paws and watched him with amber eyes. Already the cold was fading, being replaced by a soft warmth.

He smiled as she began to explain lesson two. He could agree more, with her little lesson, and gave a slight sway of his tail to show it. He watched out of the corner of his eye as Calipso inched closer, and rest her head on her paws. Lifting his own head he placed it on her cold and damp back. He hoped she wouldn't mind but it was a way to keep her warm, and it was a comfortable postion for him to lay in. "Lesson two is very important, it's a good thing I was around to full fill it" he said with a small smile, before closing his eyes with a yawn.

With his words, and his warm head on her back, Calipso was happy. So with a final content sigh, she slipped into sleep. Normally, the fae would not dare to sleep. unprotected, with another. But the huge gold male, with his kindness and loyalty, gave her a sense of security in the small den.

Calipso woke slowly, blinking sleep from her amber eyes. The den was warm, and she was instantly aware of the golden males presence. She smiled, and allowed herself a quick kiss on his muzzle. Burning with embarrassment, she hoped he was still asleep. Calipso turned her head to the den entrance, which seemed to look out into a blank whiteness. Curious, she entangled herself from Adimar and hesitantly poked the whiteness with a paw. The den was snowed in. How deep, she could not tell.

He slowly woke up from his slumber, and felt a kiss. Had Calipso just kiss him? If he didn't have his fur, he would be blushing, but for once his winter coat was useful. He attempted to stretch, but realized he was still in the den. When he looked out the entrance, he realized it was blocked by snow. "Well that's not good" he said with a whine. His stomach growled and his faced turned into a frown.

If it was a lot of snow on top, they could be trapped in there for some time, and he knew they needed out now. If it was still snowing, they would only become more, and more trapped in the den. "I can try and make a path out" he said and looked at his pale compainion for her input on the situation.

The pale fae grinned as a sudden thought struck her. "Or..." she muttered, backing up against the den wall. With a few strides, she gained enough momentum to launch herself through the blank powder, emerging in a flurry of snowflakes into a bleak and cold landscape.

She scrambled to her feet and looked around in shock, everything was blanketed in thick white. She gaped in amazement before turning back to the den mouth, covered in snow once again. "Adimar?" she asked worriedly.

Small PP, hope that's ok with you, if not I'll change it

He watched as Calipso burst through the snow, and he began laughing. "That works too" he said to himself as his pale companion couldn't hear him anymore. He copied her movement and went flying through the snow. He connected with a hard object, and fell onto it. When he looked down, he realized it was Calipso he tackled and scrambled to get off her, as the golden male was worried he crushed her. "I'm sorry" he said with an apologetic tone looking down at her for any reaction.

Her worried question was answered by Adimar flying out of the den...and straight toward her. They collided with an "Oomph" from Calipso, who was shoved into the fluffy white, where she promptly sunk. He leaped off her, and was quick to utter apologies.

The gold fae stayed in her position for a few moments, before she lunged at Adimar with a laugh, hoping to tackle him into the snow. "You dare?" she questioned him with a light and laughing voice.

He was glad she was not hurt, and watched as she leapt at him. Realizing that he might not be so easy to tackle, when the female collided with him, he went flying into the snow. He didn't want her to feel bad for not being able to knock over his fat ass, so he just fell limp plunging into the cold snow. "Ouch" he said sarcastically and laugh with his pale compainion. A smile formed on his face as he realized, he has not had this much fun since he was a pup.

Calipso laughed with the golden coated male. "Ouch is right" She sniffed in fake disdain, and planted a paw on Adimar's chest. "For the infraction of law #38, you shall be in debt to me forever. Do you accept your punishment?" she gazed down at him mercilessly, but fought not to laugh.

Adimar brought out the light in her, the side she had hidden carefully under a cold exterior after the massacre of her pack. It seemed almost like the days of glory for her pack, except now she had a companion who she liked had feelings for.

The golden male continued to laugh at her statement, before he answered her. "Ohh great queen Calipso, spare my life and I will forever serve you." He let the pale female's paw lay on his chest as it wasn't bothering him. His day was off to a good start, and he believed it would only get better, as long as his little companion was around. He too slowly but surely started to grow feelings for Calipso, and hoped one day they could be happy in a pack together. However he kept his feeling a secret, and decided it was best to keep it that way for now.

Calipso smirked. "Very good. Your first task will be to aid me in finding something to eat." She stepped off him and motioned for him to stand. She turned and began scenting the area around the den, spotting the distinctive footprints of rabbit, along with a fairly strong scent. She turned back to Adimar "Today, we shall hunt to elusive rabbit. Beware, for it is huge and dangerous." With a final grin in his direction, she set about tracking the rabbit's trail, hoping Adimar would follow.

It was then Calipso spoke of food, and Adimar was reminded of his hunger. When the pale female's paw was taken of his chest, he rose and realized how much taller than his companion. She was like a cute little stuffed animal to him, and all he wanted to do was hug her. Of course that would have to wait, because for now his queen was hungry. "Very well" he said with a nod and followed behind Calipso admiring his view. What on earth has this female done to me he thought to himself. The once very strict, unloving , Adimar was now watching a female ass, not that it bothered him, in fact he hoped she would always take the lead from now on.

@Adimar can you spree?
A sudden urge overcame the pale wolfess, and she was suddenly no longer hungry. Knowing the male was behind her, she stopped, lowered her head and lifted her rear. Her tail was lifted high and wagging slowly, and she looked back at the male with a coy smile. "Suddenly, Adimar, I'm no longer hungry. Are you?"

For a second, the fae was worried. She had never so openly craved the attention of a male. What had changed? Perhaps it was that by the day her body felt more ready, more needy. And who was she to starve it?

yea I should be able to spree

While he was admiring his companion, she suddenly stopped and lifted her tail. Oh god, did she know I was watching her, he thought to himself and looked down at the ground awkwardly. When Calipso spoke of not being hungry, the male wanted to whine, but he wanted to please his little queen. "No, not really" he said even though his stomach was growling, lucky not loud enough for Calipso to hear. "What do you want to do now" he asked tilting his head to the side, and letting his tail wag.

The golden 'queen' spun from her position, stalking toward Adimar. An unusual feeling had just come over her, her whole body begun to warm up. She confidently placed a kiss on the edge of Adimar's muzzle. "I like you, Adimar." she breathed, planting another kiss on his cheek. She pressed up against his fur, whining ever so softly.

Her tail wagged happily, suddenly the last few days worries and troubles became unreal, parts of a distant future. The fae was on the brink of her first heat, perhaps a few days away. But in her mind, why wait to tell the handsome male her feelings?

When the pale wolfess walked up and gave him a kiss, it was like little firework had just gone off around him. Then she spoke those precious words and his heart started pumping faster, and his tail began to wag. "I like you too, my little queen" he said, and had decided that was going to be her nickname, or atleast one of them. He didn't wait to start planting his own kisses, on her soft muzzle. This feeling inside him, a type of feeling he had yet to experience. He knew he liked Calipso, but the feeling he had inside him, started to feel like much more than just like.

Every time one of his soft kisses landed, it felt like fire bloomed from them. She frantically began returning them, moving from his cheek to his neck before coming back up again. She suddenly began planting her kisses along his side, moving to the base of his tail, where she placed a light nip. She came back up to his head, eyes expectant, hoping head take the hint and not reject her.
