The last traces of dying light picked out the females pelt as she lay, spread out, on one of the mighty rocks that stuck up out of the frozen ground along the mountains base. Green eyes gazed up at the beautifully painted sky, traces of pink, orange, red and yellow flung across the cloudless canvas. A hawk screamed from somewhere high above the fae, a single bluebird began it's final song. A breeze teased the girl's fur, blowing it gently along her spine.

As the sky darkened, the light faded, so did the usual sounds of the day. Sparrows and squirrels retreated to their burrows fearfully, while others, the hunters of the night, slipped out into the dark that was their day. All through this Tempest lay, and as the sun vanished beyond the horizon, she stood, a sudden urge overtaking her. She raised her elegant head to the darkness, and howled a beautiful ode to the night, to the wolf, to freedom.

Bindi was once again on the chase for Tempest. Last time she tried to become acquainted with her, a rude loner interrupted them. So the midnight wolfess set off to make things right. She came across her target, who had just started howl to what seems the moon or sky. Bindi wasn't sure what to do so she lifted her head, and joined in on Tempest's song to the night sky.

The obsidian female had been relaxing the whole day. She was proud of finding the caribou, which would hopefully prove a valuable food source. She had met the new male, and now she needed to properly get to know Tempest. She was the only other female in the pack beside Raissa, and Bindi didn't expect her and Tempest to become best friends, but it was worth a shot to atleast be friendly to the girl.

Tempest was surprised when another voice joined her song. Never less, she continued it for a few more moments before turning to the black girl. She leaped from the boulder, green eyes bright. "Bindi" She greeted her with a wagging tail and happy eyes.

She loped closer to the fae, but did not sit when she neared her. She was full of energy, a stark contrast to how she had felt earlier that day.

When Tempest finished her song Bindi was greeted by what seems, a very happy female. She gave a small nod of her head and a sway of her tail for a greeting. "Hello Tempest" she said friendly, and prayed she wouldn't say something stupid to ruin whatever friendship they may have. The midnight wolfess finally realized that she needed friends and that its not good for everyone to hate you.

Of course, that was not going to change her mischievous and fun ways. No, she had Raissa to bother when times got boring, and could always mess around with another packmate. "I was hoping we could become better acquainted, without rude loners at the boarder interrupting us" the obsidian female said with a quiet laugh.

Tempest sat, waiting for the perfect moment to use up all her energy. Perhaps a hunt? Or a run? But later, now she was busy. "Yes, good idea." green eyes looked up to the sky, where a gentle snow had begun to fall.

"Come to my den? It's warmer there."
The misty fae motioned toward the entrance, hidden by shadow. She had stocked the den with various furs, it made quite a nice sleeping place now.

She smiled when Tempest agreed with her, and then invited Bindi to her den. She followed the silver girl, even though she already knew where the den was. The midnight wolfess was a bit exited to see what Tempest had done with the cave. Bindi remembered when she was going to take the cave for herself, but due to Tempest let her have it instead. "Have you added any furs to your den" the obsidian wolfess asked curious if Tempest has yet fully settled into the den.

Tempest nodded, and told Bindi about the few various pelts she had. The pale fae slipped into the narrow crack in the rock, at the mountains base. She loved her new den. She sat, and motioned that Bindi to do the same. "Yesterday, I was drinking from this creek and I noticed that there was light coming from where it exits the cave. I guess that means that there is waterfall somewhere." She hadn't found it yet, but hoped to try today.

Bindi entered the cave behind Tempest, sat beside her and listened to her story. She smiled as Tempest explained about a possible waterfall. With the midnight wolfess's natural curiousness she too wanted to see if there is a waterfall p. "Why don't we go explore, and see if there is in fact a waterfall" she asked the pale female. She wondered what would have happened if she took this place from Tempest, and was glad she let the pale wolfess have it.
