@Jensen maybe?

With no particular destination in mind, FitzDutiful left his and Raissa's den after their discussions about names and headed down the trails that wore into the sides of Silvertip Mountain. As he reached the half way point of one of these trails he sat and stared out over the landscape. It was all rather picturesque with the sunset dipping down behind the mountains in the distance.

He wondered if he would ever get the adventuring urge to go and visit other packs that weren't nearby. Maybe once he had other leaders to leave the pack with. For now, he was too afraid that everything would topple to even pay a visit back to the Caldera lands. He was overdue telling them that everything had gone well. He shifted his gaze towards the mountain that they called their home and wondered if their pups had been born yet. He assumed they would carry on the bird theme that seemed to have run in Peregrine's family for generations.

Yet, as he looked out at what lay before him, he realised he was content. Content and happy. He was pleased with the home, with the wolves, that made up his pack. He wouldn't trade that for anything despite how much he wondered about his old friends.

When Jensen spotted him from afar, his anxiety grew tenfold. There, up on the mountainside, was the head honcho himself: FitzDutiful. Jensen hunkered down to remain unseen, curling tightly against a rocky overhang that his lithe body slipped perfectly underneath. He had been dreading this day, when obligations to remain friendly with everyone in the pack left him with only one person he had yet to formally meet: the boss. Part of him was nervous enough to attempt an escape route, but as he peered up through the cracks in the overhang he realized there was really nowhere he could go that the alpha would not see. Well, fudge.

His eyes closed tightly as he tried to even out his breathing, pushing thoughts of his father's tyrannical reign to the back crypts of his mind. There was no way Fitz was as merciless as his dad, he refused to believe it. Still, doubt clouded his mind as inch by inch the wolf pulled himself from his hiding place and shook off, trying his best to remain as casual as possible. He even went as far as to yawn and stretch out his muscles, giving the appearance he had simply been catching an afternoon snooze before turning to scale down the mountainside.

A figure conveniently caught his attention, of course, and the eta paused as if seeing him for the first time. "Oh, hey, boss!" he called lowly, trotting up towards him and immediately aiming to lick the underside of the alpha's chin with flattened ears and a tucked tail. It was how his father would have wanted to be greeted: with complete and absolute submission; he was certain Fitz would want that as well. Sigh.

If this is a thread for just you guys I'll edit this out. If not, prepared to get stalked by Bindi

Bindi was peacefully trotting threw the territory, when she spotted Fitz. She was finally going to tell him about Runt, and the information she obtained, when she saw Jensen approach him. Immediately the midnight wolfess hid behind a few bushes that provided perfect cover for her to spy on them. Lucky for Bindi, there seemed to be no wind to give away her hiding position.

When Jensen walked up to Fitz he seemed ok, but when it looked like he was about lick Fitz's face, it got a little weird for Bindi. Umm ok she thought to herself, as she has never seen anyone do that. Back at her former pack, the alpha just expected a simple bow, not a full makeout session. Her golden eyes focused on them, and her eyes foward, watching and listening with interest.

Sorry for the wait, guys! Health issues galore >_<

FitzDutiful, staring out into the distance as he was, didn't see Jensen raise himself up as he came out of a slumber. As he walked down the mountainside, FitzDutiful caught onto the presence of another. It was Jensen, the mountain's newest recruit. As the Eta approached him, FitzDuitful realised that he was in full submission mode. This was the first time a wolf had approached him in this manner. Very quickly, as Jensen's tongue made contact, FitzDutiful decided that he didn't care for this.

"Really, Jensen," FitzDutiful said, "That's not necessary. Just basic submission is enough, you don't need to go the full ten-yards." He wondered what kind of life the male had had before in order to use such overkill as basic submission. All FitzDutiful expected was simple, active submission. A lowering of the tail, the muzzle pointed upwards as the body was lowered. And even that was only until the submission had been acknowledge and then FitzDutiful was fine his pack mates relaxing.

"How is the mountain treating you? Well, I hope." he asked, wondering if the dark gold male had taken it upon himself to meet his pack members.
