[size=small]With the strength of Winter slowly dying out and the cold fading slowly into what would become a simple memory it was with renewed vigor that the silvery Epsilon awoke from underneath a tired tree that was probably older than life itself. Even if he had to admit to liking the snow under his paws he was perhaps the most relieved by the upcoming change in seasons. For him, more than the flowers and flourising life bullshit, Spring meant less uncomfortable nights.
Being one of the few wolves --if not the only one-- in the Plateu without a den if any sort, Finn was cosntantly exposed to Mother Nature's mercy.
And as everything in the Ollivander's life, his cold pillow of white had begun to turn monotonous.

Everything in his life had to be honest.
Get up, hunt and patrol, that had pretty much turned into his everyday schedule.
In the shortlived Winter days there was little time to do anything else, all he busied himself with was work.
He had not even found time to chat with Dante, his blood bro, or with any of the other wolves he considered to be his friends.
Osprey, Lasher, Saena and Blue Willow had not crossed his path for a good two weeks.
But that, he decided whilst stopping dead in his tracks, would be remedied today.

Quickly, moving to the nearest cache he plucked a stray bone out of the heap of left overs another wolf had failed to bury. Then with the frail thing dangling in his mouth like a cigarette he trotted to a place he had wanted to visit for a long time but again with the ephimeral sense of time escaping from his grasp and the hours fading too soon, he had found no chance to.
The den of the happy, Mayfair family.

Though it was relatively close to midday and the blue of the sky was hiding under a mantle of soggy grey clouds, the Ollivander held on to the hope than the children would be awake. With quiet steps and his ears turning over his head cautiously, Finn peered into the dark shadows that loomed from the den's entrance.
It was all eerily quiet for now.
"knock knock " he muttered through the dangling bone that hung from his lips before settling his bum onto the floor.

Eilidh spent most of her time outside. Even if she wasn't trustworthy one bit, the chances of her going on an adventure by herself were very slim. She knew because she had tried it once, when no one was looking. It proved to be boring with no one to share the experience with. So instead, she stuck with her routine of analyzing every detail on the edge of the imaginary line that separated what was analyzed and what was to be analyzed. No blade of grass popping up was to go unnoticed with her around! The process was long and lengthy, which meant it kept her from straying too far.

Eilidh was just about to bound out of the den to do just that - analyze more grass - when something occurred. Instead of emerging into the fresh air, she collided with something. With an unintentional, "Oof!" Eilidh landed unceremoniously on her butt. When she looked up, there was a familiar figure in here way. "You!" She barked at it with a smile appearing on her face. Out of all the visitors she'd had, he was the favorite.

Eilidh sprung to her feet, but no sooner than that she was falling forward in her haste to land an affectionate headbutt on Finn's leg. The force that she collided with Finn's leg made her head rattle a little at first, but Eilidh was still smiling. To top it off, she planted a slobbery kiss next to the spot her head hit because his face was out of reach.

[size=small]Not even a second after his bottom had brushed the cold floor that made up the Mayfair's little porch did he recieve the first greeting. With a muffled cry in protest it was again the little blonde baby that appeared before his eyes, again, falling back at his (this time unintentional) touch in a manner that was way to familiar. Finn knew he was a chick magnet, but he hadn't realized he was also the type to make girls go head over heels for him too.
Quickly, the girl jumped back to her paws, only to fall back again against his leg, drawing a trail of slobber as she slided down.

"it's me" he laughed as he carefully pushed up the leg she had used as landing streak to help her regain her balance. Even if she had obviously not mastered the use of her plump, jelly legs, her motor skills considerably better than when he last seen her -- when she was a whiny potato.
A whiny potato with good memory though, he then thought as he, with amazement and a comforting sense of pride realizded that not only had she greeted him with something other than cries but had, recognized him.

"What's up with you, hmm?" he then woofed, the thin bone that he held between his lips being purposedly dangled in front of the child's face.
