Ohen had joined a new pack, something he didn't want to do but thought it could help him in finding Bassilth. He would stop at nothing to find her, his sister's saftey meant the world to him. He had found a pack he thought would suit him, they lived in a dark forest, completely opposite of Dragon Valley, but he felt at home here.

He wandered around looking for a possible den. He already wanted to continue looking for his sister, but knew he should become acquainted with at least a few of his new pack mates. Stopping in the middle of his jog around the boarders, he looked around for anyone else as he felt like someone was watching him.

Hi!! Welcome to the pack!

Burke marched along the border. The tank of a wolf didn't bother with being silent if it meant that others would run away in fear, then he did not have to spend the time to talk to that said intruder. The large charcoal grey male was often on patrol to catch any unwanted wolves coming the heart of their pack lands. Burke slowly turned his head when an unknown scent crossed his path. The male turned and followed it, to soon see a young black male.

Another black one in their pack, how surprising. The calm older wolf moved in on the stranger. The only thing that kept him from attacking was Meldresi's scent on him. This newbie was very fresh, or so it seemed. Burke's calm mind nodded courtly in greeting. His red dark brother mark visible on his left shoulder and his docked tail held up proudly. "Hello. I'm Burke. It seems you are new? Let's put you to good use. Why don't you walk the borders with me?" Burke was testing how respectful this male was to an older wolf and one higher in rank.

Thanks!

The dark male continued to look around until he was sure he was alone, and as he stood to continue his walk, a large grey male approached him. He held a proumd posture, something Ohen held himself, but he would not show it now. The next thing the dark male noticed was the older male's tail, and how half of it was missing. Ohen did not stare though as he didn't want to seem rude to his new pack mate.

The ebony male gave a nod to the stranger and then stood tall. "Nice to meet you Burke, I'm Ohen" he said and was pleased that he didn't speak in Dovahzul. "Of course, patrolling the boarders would be much better than just standing here." Ohen wanted to get on his pack mates good side, that way he will be able to continue searching for his sister.

Burke's docked tail moved while standing up proudly. It wasn't often that the stump of a tail was lowered. The dark male across from him seemed young but not totally crazy as some in their pack. Burke had to admit that made him favor this Ohen a lot more than the other new wolves. Like, an extra bonus point so to say. Burke nodded courtly. His enormously large body turning towards the border. "Welcome, Ohen," he returned. Burke was always so calm of mind it was difficult to see what he was really thinking.

"Good answer," the male spoke, having a hint of a smile on his maw as he started walking. Burke was built like a tank, which meant he wasn't that fast. Plus the wolf liked to do everything at his own pace, while still being ambitious of nature. The red mark of being a dark brother stood out again his fur when he moved. "So what brings you here?," the large male wondered to make the conversation. "Make it interesting," he added, just lightly joking.

The grey male seemed to like Ohen's answer and so they started off along the boarders. When Burke asked about why the dark male was there he gave a smile thinking of his sister. "I came from a place called Dragon Valley, and left because i'm searching for my sister" he said, as Bassilth was his sister, but she was also his best friend. "There is a lot more about my past but I don't want to bore you." There was the language Dovahzul, the Old Gods, Dragon Valley's past, and much more he could speak about.

"What about you, what brought you to these wilds" he asked wanting to show that he was curious about the older male's life also. He imagined Burke coming for a family of giants or something like that, but wouldn't say it out loud. He didn't want to seem rude, to the very first wolf he meet since joining.

Burke moved onto the buffer zone of their territory. The dark forest was here less dark. "Ah looking for your sister. I hope you do know you might be dead," Burke returned. When he was traveling alone he encountered loners who were looking for their family. Burke already knew that most of them were probably dead. "One does not bore me very quickly. You past tells me something about you," Burke returned wisely. He wasn't very keen to revisit his past family life. He was stupid to ever start a pack with his lazy brother.

"I had my own pack. Thorn Ledge. Lets say it didn't function so well. So I left," he spoke with out a care in the world. "On my travels I heard about Meldresi and her pack. About the brotherhood and the darkness they spread. Sounded fun," he then hummed. Burke turned his blue eyed gaze towards the younger male. "I came here to learn about Meldresi's ways. Also by being a packmate I learn that they are no different from me. When I first started my own pack I was really power crazy, mostly was fed by my brother, which I had a rivalry with. I left, channeled the inner calmness I admired in my father and got away from all that poison."

Ohen seriously wanted to hurt Burke for what he said about Bassilth. The dare male didn't want to believe there was a possibility she was dead, but he could never know or sure unless he found her. Ohen still had a feeling in his soul telling him she was she was out there, somewhere. "I have faith that my sister is alive, she is a strong female" he said proud to call her his sister.

His ears shot forward with interest has Burke told his past. Even though he didn't know the male personally, he was glad he was here. Ohen had heard of the ways of this pack, and even though he wasn't a complete savage and assassin, he felt this pack would suit him. He had been serving the same Gods ever since he was born and couldn't help but become interested in this brotherhood. "Perhaps you can tell me more about this brotherhood, or at least what your allowed to speak of." He said knowing that those in the actual brotherhood itself, probably held valuable secrets that were not allowed to be told to others.

Burke licked his lips and glanced briefly at the younger male. "Keep believing then. You know your sister better than I after all. But don't be a sulking puppy if you can't find her," Burke spoke, lightly amused with the vision of the other sad like a little pup. It was probably that Burke wasn't a family man that he didn't understand it at all. After he was done explaining about his past life Burke slowly smiled. This Ohen was a smart wolf. Burke was just about to say he wasn't allowed to talk about it too much. Burke wasn't sure what he could tell the male.

"Smart,' he commented with a hint of a smile. "The Brotherhood's divine purpose is to serve The Dread Lord and follow his desires, which we achieve through the word of the Night Mother," Burke spoke, trying to be slightly vague about it. The Dark Brotherhood was an organization with the purpose of assassination and professional killing. They are the harbingers of death and executors of silent, covert assassinations. But to just bluntly tell his young male was not what Burke was going to do. The male had to unknowing prove himself to be scouted.

The ebony male was interested in this dark brotherhood. He was sure it was a lot less complicated than his dragon religion, but wasn't sure if he was ready to just throw away everything he knows about his religion for another. "It sounds interesting, a lot better than my dragon religion" he said and looked down at the ground while walking.

He wondered what life would be like if he never goes back to Dragon Valley. He had a mission, find Bassilth and safely return her home, but what if he never finds her. He shook his head and focused back on the boarders. He wondered if they had intruders a lot as he wasn't sure how often they had to do patrols. "Do you guys get a lot of intruders" he asked and looked at Burke and then back at the boarder.

Burke glanced curiously at the male. "Dragon religion?,' he returned with interest. "Tell me about it." Burke was always interested in what other wolves believed in. His tank of a body slowed down in a walk, his tail stood up proudly. Burke wasn't ashamed of his docked tail. It was probably even the other way around, he was proud of it. The charcoal male slowly nodded at the next question. "They often come in waves. Then a lot and then it is quiet again. Somehow living in a dark forest it still attracts weaklings that think they can cross over our borders."

Burke instantly was remembered by Titana and Calipso. Weird females. It almost annoyed him to think about them. Most of the time Burke made sure they would never return to Black Feather lands. Even while outside venturing out he liked to spread the rumor how bad they were.

Burke showed an interest in Ohen's religon and the young male was glad he didn't find it weird."There is much to talk about in my religion, what would you like to know about, my Gods, my language, how we came to worship the dragons" he asked wondering what the male would find most intriguing. It took months for Ohen to learn understand the Old Gods, and he still had to choose a dragon to worship in particular.

Ohen thought that wolves had to be crazy in order to approach the dark forest, but he must have been even crazier to want to be apart of the pack. "Ok, just wanted to know that way I can help out with guarding the land." Ohen was no warden, but he still wanted to help out with the boarders. He focused back on the path ahead of him, and wondered what these wolves did to intruders, but he would ask that question some other time.

Burke turned his face sideways to look at the young man. Slowly a frown settled into his brow. He never heard of 'dragons' before and he wondered if it was another word for god. It could be. Burke wasn't going to question it. He kept to the religion the dark brothers had. He was devoted to it, and by its rules. "Dragons. Another word for gods, yes? I have never heard of such word. Do you have one god or several?," he wondered.

The large male walked on, today seemed like a quiet day. It happened sometimes. Burke wasn't a warden either. But he still did what was expected from him. He could scare off a stranger, that was no problem. "That is a good thing. These are our lands, only wolves who show interest in joining are bid to come closer. Others need to stay the hell away."

The male appeared to have never heard of a dragon before and Ohen himself was not exactly sure what they were. "I heard that they are these powerful reptile things, they kind of look like lizards but dragon have wings. Some dragons can breath fire, others can freeze time" he said, and wondered if he was ever going to meet a dragon. "There are seven dragons known as the Old Gods, these are the dragons I worship." His religion was extremely strick and at the age of one you are expect to pick one Old God to worship above all the others.

"There is Dumat, the Dragon of silence, he is also the leader of the other dragons. There is Zazikel, dragon of chaos, and Toth, the dragon of fire. Andoral is the dragon of slaves, and Urthemiel Is the dragon of beauty" he said and took a breath before continuing. "Finally there is Razikale, the dragon of mystery, he is also the dragon my sister, Bassilth worships. Last but not least there is Lusacan, the dragon of night" he said and was surprised he remembered them all.

There was a lot more to his religion, for example in order to speak with an Old God you had to know the ancient language Dovazul. From what Ohen knew, only his pack former knew how to speak the language and so many wolves did not hold the honor of knowing the great dragon language. "Is there anything else you were curious about, I would be happy to answer them" he said and smiled.

Burke chuckled. He couldn't help it. "So you pray to glorified lizards?," the barked out in laughter. The large male looked very amused in that moment. He quickly recalled himself because he didn't want to offend his young male. Everyone had his religion and it would be disrespectful to laugh at it. "Excuse me. I never heard of such a thing," Burke returned. The large male listened to what Ohen was telling him. This new information was interesting. They prayed to Mephala a demon princess of murder, sex, and secrets. So who was he to judge?

Burke nodded slowly. "So let me guess you picked the dragon of the night?," he returned. It was just a wild guess. It could be that Burke was right. The male chose for Black feather after all. They lived in a dark place. it wouldn't be that weird. "Have you ever seen these dragons?," he wondered. He hadn't seen the one he believed in and yet, he believed because he had to. If he wanted to be a dark brother he had to. Maybe this young male had to believe in dragons because of his parents.

Burke had a point, worshiping lizards did not sound like the greatest thing, so Ohen would stick to calling them dragons. "I guess i do" he said and laughed. His sister would have killed Burke if she heard him call the Old Gods lizards, but Ohen was different. When the older male apologized Ohen didn't see why, he was just calling dragons what they were.

When Burke asked if he saw a dragon, the Ebony make shook his head no. He wanted to see one, the only problem was he didn't know where to find one. "I want to find one, I just don't know where to look" he explained. He searched eveywhere lizards live, under rocks, close to streams, and in caves. Perhaps Ohen could find a dragon in this drak forest, it seems like a place a powerful dragon would live.

Holy! So sorry!! I looked over this. Forgive me <3 Lets wrap this up! :D

Burke had to snort a bit at Ohen, in a good way. He was his pack mate, Burke would not be disrespectful towards him. The large male liked how the darker one just admitted that he prayed to lizards. Funny. But also good. He liked it when wolves came up for what they believed. It didn't mean that he had to believe it. Burke walked on further by the border. They were close to his den, and Burke felt like a nap. He was getting older.

"I can imagine they are hard to find, even when big. Don't look for someone who doesn't want to be found. That is what I keep to my heart. It only creates trouble," Burke spoke. The male almost found himself so wise for saying that. Maybe he was a bit wise. He liked to be counselor. "With this wisdom. I will be leaving you. Feel free to stop patrolling to, but if you want to see interesting things, you should continue. There will be a swamp up ahead."
