Uchhhhh I lost the reply while writing my last sentence. Here we go again. Mission set. I have permission to PP @Morgana being present.

Burke wanted to interrogate Kove's girlfriend before heading to the Glacier. He knew from Kove's fur at the time that she was from the pack they were about the spy on. After Kove leaving because his girlfriend was kicked out Burke saw it as the perfect opportunity to have a little private talk with the female. He would test if she would want to say anything and if not, maybe even trick her in telling him secret passes or poorly patrolled area's. But, with Morgana being with him he didn't want to risk it. What if she took interrogating too far? He could disrespect his brother Kove. What Burke didn't know was that Morgana was on good terms with the red eyed female. Frankly, he didn't know Morgana well enough to take her along to see this 'Scarlett'. It didn't matter, he would have to do this mission without extra information.

The large male had stayed mostly quiet during their travels to Duskfire. It wasn't that he disliked Morgana. Burke was actually relieved that he was paired up with the dark female. If he would be paired up with Crescendo it would probably have been disastrous. Meldresi probably knew that. Burke was quite liking Morgana as a pack mate, and only as a pack mate. Sometimes it seemed like a reality show with all the hooking up with one another. After what happened with Tanith Burke just quit all of that all together. Burke stopped before they reached the border of DFG. He wanted to have a plan of action first so they were on the same page. "Let's make a game plan before entering. We can sneak in together and then spread. But I think we are stronger together. Unless you rather work alone. That is fine too," Burke spoke calmly. When Burke entered Treekon Wilds a month ago he walked past this area. The ice would be a good way of entering. Since the ice didn't leave any scents behind. Burke was from Alaska so he was as surefooted on ice as can be. He wasn't so sure about Morgana, though. "How is your footing on ice?"

Morgana was relived to have been paired up with Burke. Actually, she was more than relieved, if that's even possible. She could have been paired up with Him.. And that would come to no good. Her and Crescendo working to gather was just something that was entirely not possible. Burke was a respectable pack mate, even after the whole Tanith thing. But that didn't shape her opinion of him.
I'll be fine, she replied. She was light on her feet, and crossing frozen water didn't scare her. But Burke was right, she did work better on her won. It was just the way she was. Though she really didn't want to get caught by the same stupid Alpha that had stupidly kicked Scarlett out. It would be such a waste of her time. She then wondered why they hadn't gone to Scarlett for information. Any extra dirt on them would be helpful. We could have gone to my friend Scarlett for information, you know. She was kicked out of this pack by that Alpha. No matter, yes, we should go in together then split up. We might catch attention if we stick together, and if one of us gets caught at leased another doesn't have to, She told him. Or do you have another idea?

Burke deadpanned at Morgana. Scarlett was her friend?! Seriously? What kind of miracle powers did this woman have to lure one of his brothers away and even befriend distrusting Morgana of all wolves! Burke couldn't believe it. "I was thinking about that... She is Kove's partner we have to be respectful. And I don't know how you are with other females," he pointed out. He wasn't sure if he should bring up the topic of Kadence now they were on that matter but Burke decided against it. They needed to spy for their pack. For a client! Burke looked at the territory before them. Burke was curious about her way of thinking. "So you rather would go alone instead of a pack mate having your back and saving your ass?," Burke spoke with a frown. "Alright."

Burke nodded courtly, whatever the lady pleased. Normally he would do a spying mission alone anyways. "Wait..,' he then spoke. "Why would Meldresi put us in pairs if we were to spy alone? That wouldn't make sense." Burke trusted on their alpha. "We will go together. If we encounter one wolf it is 2 against 1 and we will have the upper hand. It is a spying missing, not one to assassinate a wolf. We leave when we are spotted. Then it is best we camp close to their borders and try again the next day,' Burke spoke, determined to get some information. Talk about a bonding moment if they would have to spend the night together after a failed mission. This day ought to be interesting.

As he 'droned' on, Morgana looked into the frozen water of the creek. Her mind wandered, and once again she though about the thing that had been haunting her for days....Him. And the pups. As far as she knew, he didn't know anything about his sons and daughters. He would find out, though. Then what would he do? The thought scared her. He would be angry, that was for sure. But...angry enough to kill? As she thought of dead pups, her pups, slayed by their father, and thousands more scenarios, she made a strange small noise in the back of her throat.

She was snapped out of her thoughts in time to catch the end of Burke's speech. Gathering herself, she looked up at him distractedly. "Umm, okay. Sure. What?" she stumbled, obviously distraught.

Don't forget to wrap up our other thread! <3

Burke actually snarled when she didn't listen to what he had been saying. That was rude of her. He bared his teeth and let out a deep growl. "Focus, Morgana. If you have your head somewhere else. Then just go home. You are a team player or not," He let out. Burke was clueless about the young that were growing in the female's belly. If Burke would know who the father was the large male would be instantly disgusted. But for now, the large male was in the dark about the secret Morgana was hiding. "Are we going to do this together or do I need to send you back home until you got your thoughts all sorted out," Burke spoke. He was higher in rank and he could give her an order like that.

Burke didn't want to spoil her fun but if Morgana was not focusses he could better go in alone. She would otherwise a dead weight that he had to carry along with him. If they ran into other wolves he did not need Morgana to zone out.

Morgana snarled, her fear replaced by sudden anger. "I'm not a child, Burke." She glared at him, tense, angry. "You don't understand anything. If you did, you wouldn't be acting like a jerk" Her eyes were sharp as daggers, her teeth bared and hackles raised. She forced them down, and not even realizing her delightful rhyme, she turned her back to Burke and set off across the ice. That morning she had been sick again, and it did nothing to help her mood. When her paws struck land again, she muttered "Lets just get this over with"

She was angry, angrier then she should be. With a single encounter, her life had gone off the rails. All because of him. She hated him. She would kill him.

They weren't actually in the territory yet, but I guess now they are.

Burke growled back at her. He didn't care that her personal life went to shit. They were on client business and they had to preform. Morgana's mental state was going to ruin this mission that is for sure. He watched her set off and even though Burke would want to head in another direction just so she would get her butt out of her ass that didn't mean he could do that. Meldresi depended on him and they arranged that they would stay together. Burke trotted over the ice with Morgana, he jumped over cracks and warned her if they were. Burke could be fed up and pissed with her but Morgana would never know, he always stayed calm of mind. The large male got to the Lookout and then travel down to the spur woods that laid around the lake.

Burke couldn't care less what the female's problems were unless she made it his problems by asking his council. The tank of a male couldn't do that now, they were on a mission. Burke stayed low to the ground, his nose and ears catching his whole surrounding like he was hunting. He rolled himself over the ground to smell like their grounds and not so much like swamp and death. Burke took being a spy so serious that he even rubbed himself against a marked tree. That would do. Burke motioned for Morgana to do the same. If she wouldn't then go her to ruin the mission. Burke camouflaged well with the surroundings and stayed low to the ground as he creeped further.

This should be amusing. I'm going to laugh so hard if Sen wins the spar. xD

Sen had been wandering towards the borders of the territory, intent on leaving on one of her journeys to clear her mind. Things had become problematic in her mind, and she was sure putting distance between herself and the Glacier would help. Well, more like she hoped it would. The woman didn't want to have to leave the pack, but things were getting far too wild for her tastes. Never had she engaged in an actual fight before joining Duskfire, and never had she witnessed a child slain right before her very eyes. She wasn't a huge fan of kids, as her talk with another wolf had made her utterly disgusted by babies, but that didn't mean she felt one deserved death. The kid probably hadn't even known what he was fighting for. She believed he must have just been following blindly, that he was forced into it just as she was. It angered her to think that, and an angry Sen was a rare thing. Annoyed, yes, but truly angered... it just didn't happen to the arrogant woman. Not until now, anyways. She gave a good shake of her head, silently hoping that, perhaps, she would be able to relieve herself of all thoughts if she did it hard enough. That wasn't the case, however, but it was at least worth a shot. Anything would be better that letting her thoughts engulf her as they were currently doing. As a foreign scent drifted into her nose, it seemed her thoughts would be forgotten, but then replaced by something just as unpleasant and annoying.

The distance between them started to close, and she sighted the intruders just soon enough to see the darker furred one turning around and leaving. Cold feet, she assumed, but didn't really care. Promptly, she closed the distance between herself and the grey male, but made a point to stop a short distance away. It was an unfortunate encounter for the man, she decided, because the sooty woman was far from being in a good mood. Her ears pulled back, a glare and bared fangs showing on her face instead of the normal, humorous glint and grin. It was as if it wasn't even Sen anymore, and she didn't like that, but also didn't fight it. "You're still not welcomed here," she stated, a cold edge to her voice. She was irritated and angry, and Burke just happened to come along for her to take her aggression out on. A fight was the last thing she wanted, but there was no way she wouldn't defend herself if he tried anything.

Burke eventually told Morgana to go home and her weird behavior. It didn't make sense and Burke was close to be fed up with it. Meldresi told him to have this mission succeed. The Glacier seemed awfully lonely and almost deserted like he saw at SC. The tank of a male decided that sneaking wasn't even necessary. He sniffed a few bushes and made sure his scent was clearly there. Burke then saw a female, his head raising. She had a dark coat, something he didn't suspect in a place so light. But no matter. He threw all the tactics he had out the window and curved his lips into a smirk. Morgana frustrated him and the dark brother felt like he needed to just bite into something. He guessed it would be this unlucky female. But before that Burke liked to tease and toy with her a bit. A charming grin was on his lips. "What are you going to do about it? Fight me?," he snorted.

The large male raised his eyebrow. "Still not? Which pack do you think I am? I've never trespassed here," he bluntly challenged. Burke then stepped forward keeping his face so calm and expressionless it was had to see what he was going to do. Burke made no separation between males of females when fighting. If a female wanted a spar he would just as well fight them as hard as he would do a male. Burke suddenly jumps forward with a snarl and tries to grab one of Sen's pressure points in her neck. Instantly attacking the female without further conversation.

Sen never learns.

The dark woman didn't answer either of his questions. She simply stood her ground and glared at him, a snarl making it's way onto her face. The way he spoke made it seem as if he wasn't one of the wolves from the sea, but Sen was skeptical. Burke could be lying to her, after all. He could have been there before, either scouting the area or during the fight. Though she'd never seen, or even smelled, him before, the wolf didn't know if she could be sure or not. He could have hidden his scent if he'd entered the territory before, and things were too hectic during the battle for her to have had the chance to see anyone but the wolf she'd been fighting. She gave a quick sniff to the air once more, but was given no scents of the sea. He smelled odd, but definitely not of salt water. Still, he was a trespasser, and she was fed up with intruders of all sorts. When he lunged forward at her, she actually welcomed the battle and fought against him. The sooty woman was foolish to think she actually stood a chance against the man, but for once her thoughts of logic had been tossed to the side and ignored. In the end, she was met with defeat, the same result her mind had attempted to tell her would happen if she engaged in battle with the male.

It had been his sheer weight alone that bought her down. It was humiliating for her, to say the least. Even after the battle had ended and she was permitted to get up, Sen stayed laying on the ground, anger written out clearly all through her features. She should have know it would happen, and yet she'd chosen to ignore all logic. Had the battle with the sea wolves continued on, she would have lost that battle, too. The woman just wasn't built to fight, only run, but that flight instinct had chosen to abandon her for the time being. Her amber gaze found it's way up to the grey man, already knowing she'd do well to remember both his face and his scent. As she slowly worked to finally pull herself to her feet, she caught the man's tail from the corner of her eye. Instantly, she wanted to laugh and make fun of it, but her want to keep herself form being attacked again kept her from doing so. What it didn't stop he form doing, however, was speaking. “Leave,” Sen told him, getting straight to the point. “Stay away from the Glacier. You can't be here.” It probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, given the fact that he'd completely crushed her just moments prior, but she couldn't silence herself.

It wasn't a long and exhausting fight. Burke had soon gotten the apprehend by using his weight against the lady. The only thing that suffered was his ear. Burke had a victorious grin on his face. His docked tail held high and proudly. He wasn't going to let this female tell him otherwise. Burke laughed in her face and then casually walked around her further into the territory. He had won this fight so he could have some dips. "You can't stop me," he pointed out. The large male curled a charming smile on his lips. Maybe she could tell him something about their fight was AS. Or maybe give him some other in tell. The place seemed rather deserted.

"I won't hurt you further if you tell me what is being going on here," Burke returned. He was curious about this place and how it was recovering after their war. He wasn't even sure if they had lost or won. Burke had to find out to tell to Meldresi. His tank-sized body stepped closer to the female to be more intimidating. He didn't saw her even as a female, just another wolf he needed to get information out of. She knew what he was capable of and it was unlikely she was able to stand another spar.

Sen's eyes stayed focused on the man, amber gaze unwavering. A low growl sounded from her throat as he moved passed her, going against her better judgment. The fight or flight instincts within her mind where telling her to turn and flee, to run away without looking back. For once, just once, she wanted to ignore her nature as a realist, however. She was in no condition to fight again, of course, but that didn't prevent he from continuing to stand her ground. Her life had changed considerably, but not quite for the better. “Leave,” she commanded once more, ignoring the brute's words. She lowered her head as she watched him and pulled her ears back, before moving her legs apart slightly to ensure her balance would be kept if he tried anything. The woman wasn't sure what to expect from him, nor could he tell what he was after aside from the obvious—to sneak around. She did not know who he was or who he served under, nor did she have even the slightest of clues to the fact that he was doing a job for the salt-scented wolves. “Go back to whatever hole you crawled out of.” How stubborn the girl was, speaking words you would not expect from someone who'd just lost a fight.

Something similar to a scoff laugh her maw after being asked a question. As if she would answer him! As things currently stood, she wasn't too sure she answered to anyone anymore, aside from herself. It was only herself who could truly watch out for her and hold the best intentions for her, or so it seemed, at least. “As if I would tell you, rabbit-ass,” Sen stated, a rather bold move calling him a name given the previous scuffle between them. The fire within her seemed to have been reignited, though, and her words made it quite clear she would not be an easy wolf to get information out of. When he stepped closer, she raised her head in a way that showed the arrogance within her. Another bold move, but her mind was too clouded to even care at that point. “This how you treat all the woman you encounter? Attack them, ask them questions, and then attempt to intimidate them? How charming,” she proclaimed, words practically dripping with sarcasm. Someday, perhaps Sen would learn, but it was clear that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

Mild PP. But I have permission from Renee :)

Burke growled lowly when the female defied him once more. The tank of a male wasn't one to be stifled with. He hated ever second of it. He didn't say anything in return, just showing of his nice and calm attitude. He wasn't going to let her talk him down though. He knew better than that. And he most definitely wasn't going to be nice to a female that meant nothing to him. She was a mere fly that was annoying him with its buzzing sound. Burke then suddenly charged forward. He should have killed her instantly. Even though he was trespassing and Meldresi wanted her info.

Burke knew she was weak and it was his time to put her back in submission under him. He grabbed a pressure point in her neck and instantly pushed her down against the ground. He growled loudly and clenched his teeth harder down wanting to draw blood and make her suffer badly. She would start the speak, Burke would make sure that she would. He would need to return with the right information to the dark queen.

The woman's words were met with not even something as simple as a single sound. She was met only with silence from the man, leading her to believe she had won some secret verbal spar she'd not been aware of originally. Boy, was she wrong though. Though calm in appearance, the man became everything but as he lunged forward and grabbed hold of her. A yelp escaped her, one formed out of both surprise and momentary fear. Perhaps she had pushed him too much, maybe it would be his jaws from which she died. No, she would not allow such thoughts to take hold of her mind. She shoved them all away and put on the best poker face she could muster up, given the circumstances. Sen would not roll over and submit to the man, nor would she tell him anything he wanted to know. Whether it be due to her loyalty to the Glacier, or the stubbornness she'd always possessed, the results were the same either way. “Get off of me,” she commanded, clearly not grasping the danger of the situation. Or, maybe she did, and just didn't care. Things were hardly ever so simple as black and white within the obsidian wolf's mind.

Sen attempted to twist out of the man's grip, but to no avail. After a bit, she stopped and kept herself still, hoping to conserve what energy remained, and wishing to gain as much as she could back. Even if she wasn't tired, though, she knew she stood no chance against the tank. He was muscular and large, while she was more on the lithe side of things. The differences in their body structures would allow her to outrun him, but such a task could not be done unless she managed to get out of his grip. “You're wasting your time here,” the woman began, annoyance and anger in her voice. “I would never tell you anything. So either try and kill me now, or let go of me and go away.” Sen was in no position to bargain or demand things, and yet, that was exactly what she'd chosen to do.

Last post from me. Slight PP, tell me if you want it changed. But this is an old thread so lets end it xD

Burke was clearly done with this female and her big mouth. He would then make sure that she would not be babbling to her packmates what she had seen. Burke held the pressure point in her neck tightly. He even moved his paw onto her shoulder before he relocated his bite to the sensitive part of her neck. The place where they also killed deer. With her bargain to let her go or kill her there was only one easy decision. Burke bit down, blood tasting on his tongue, and slowly closing of her windpipe. Normally he would kill mercilessly but this female was bold and he decided to reward that. He would make her pass out with the lack of air before leaving. He would get his information the other way.

The large male waited until he was certain that the female had found darkness, the darkness of sleep not the darkness of killing. He then continued to spy through the Glacier lands. They defenses were weak. He knew that much. At least he had something to tell Meldresi now...
