Couldn't resist starting another thread. This happens after their arrival so I'm keeping things vague. Anyone can join, but preferably those who're going to be following the Khalas.

indentUnder the pale moonlight, the golden khal advanced through the cold, rushing water that traversed the valley. He had left his Khalasar behind, confident that they would keep guard of the camping site they had chosen to spend the night on. Rakharo needed to see what was on the other side of the mountain, and the brightness of the moon would be a good ally for fulfilling his desires. He wanted to get to the ridge of the mountain, where he was sure he'd have a periferical view of this new land. He was eager to go further, to find the promised herds of Bison he so desperately needed to claim. The ocassional deer or elk wasn't enough to calm the Dotharaan hunger, and Rakharo was getting sick of the miserable rodents.

indentThe other side of the mountain meant yet another opportunity to find what they needed. Another chance to finally get there, and the good thing was that as long as there were mountains ahead, those chances wouldn't stop coming. A few more steps and he would have the view he wanted. And ge got there. With high hopes and calm impatience the Khal's figure materialized from behind the ridge, and the landscape emerged from down below.

indentAnother valley.

indentDesception filled the Khal's chest with anger again, and his eyes narrowed in brooding fury. It had been so long since their departure that even with a wanderer heart Rakharo felt desolated. And he cursed in his native tongue, a growl so low and guttural that even his Khalas woud have heard them from the bottom of the hill and across the river.

Daddehhhh. :D

Zhavvi wasn't really keen on following her father to these 'promising' new lands. She rather wanted to venture out on her own and have some exciting things happening to her. But, apparently there was no way to escape her father's watch for long enough before she was stopped and brought back. Her green eyes looked more venomous each day because she was so bored. Of course she loved her father but the girl wished Rakharo would let her be herself for once. She couldn't even remember when he father wasn't protective towards her. He always had been like this. Zhavvi would often pester him with questions. 'Am I really you daughter?' 'Did you steal me?' 'Can I go?' 'When will you tell me what you are not telling me?' She didn't know that her past was not told to her out of protection. They probably knew that Zhavvi was certain to seek out the one that killer her mother to take revenge.

The darkness settled over them, which pleased the little lady. Maybe now she was safely brought to these other lands she might run off since her father was unfamiliar with these lands just like her... Zhavvi might think that she would run off but in the end she would always return home. Not all wolves shared her beliefs after all. She stood a bit behind him when the male started cursing about the fact there were no bison herds as promised. Zhav stepped next to her father, tail raised along with her muzzle. "You're such a hyporcrite, Opsola," She returned to her Opsola(father). If she would curse Zhavvi wouldn't hear the end of it. She knew she was probably making his mood even worse by pestering him like that. "I'm hungry. Why can't I go hunt. I want to catch my own meal."

omg please turn the custom MyCode on! D:

indentThe life of a Single father had been anything but easy to the proud Khal. Zhavvi was his heart, there was no question about that, but sometimes she could be the most annoying bitch in the Srofosor (earth). It came as a constant pain in the ass to deal with he r rebelliousness, even more now that they weren't on known lands. Rakharo know she wasn't happy about the journey, but there was something she didn't understand about all of it. It was because of her. Rakharo wanted to give his daughter a place distant from his father's evil memories, far from the sadness he had dealt with himself upon his wife's death. But Zhavvi hadn't been able to fit that little detail in her small head. Instead, she came to him calling him a hypocrite and confronting him with teenager stupid problems and requests. She was bold. Too much for Rakharo's comfort, and she wasn't easy to control. But she wasn't impossible either.

indent"Tir ti bevi renthisj ekess ve hefoc batobot, Vafik." The beastly Khal growled, making sure his daughter knew her place again. She could be his Khalakki, but he was the Khal, and he didn't appreciate being challenged like that. "Vi kaldaka shilta ti maulk loaw. Vi Khalas maulkic ulnaus. Vi Khalas soneic ulnaus. Yth re dout Khalas, Zhavvi, wux maulk mrith udoka usv wux nugri ekess marfedelom." Rakharo hissed with severity. He wouldn't put up with his daughter's insubordination.

It was 1am again. xD

Zhavvi instantly flipped her grumpy personality around, something she could do so well if it would benefit her. The brown and black female licked under her father's muzzle. She could call him out like she just did but she wasn't completely being disrespectful most of the times. She had to get her way in a different way rather than talking to her father like that. "Opsolaaaaaaa," The young female whined. The whining would probably not help. She wanted to know why she wasn't allowed to do anything! These were new lands to her too. Zhavvi wanted to know why. Something snapped as she raised her head a bit, dropping the whine-y little girl act. "Kii tir wux ti enel ve? Re wux tesantamaso si geou ti return sjek wux origato ve gethrisj? Svabol ui dout gahaslaug mrith ve? Si shilta lead hesi khalas persvek vi maulk! si tuor ekess waph sia kurjh tobor. Ti wer ir wux re douhvyir ihk ve!," Zhavvi always fired a load of questions if she was fed up with the man that was her father.

Zhav was proud that her father was the khal, but as it turns out, no one is perfect and her father really should calm down with protecting her. Zhavvi knew that this was horrible to say but she had no regrets. Her ears fell back sadly and she instantly looked like a kicked puppy. Back to that 'I'm-so-hurt-don't-you-love-me' look. "Tir wux ti itov ve? Kii tir wux tuor ekess thirku ve?," even the way she said it Zhavvi sounded upset. Deep down she was not, she was trying to figure out the right combination to make her father crack and tell her the what's and the why's.

omg I need to stop doing that xD

indentThe pale gold Khal chugged in fury when his whiny daughter further continued with the tantrum. He had had a hard time accepting his daughter was no longer an Enta, but now he wasn't so sure she had enough maturity to even hunt with the Khalas. She needed to learn that Rakharo, although he was his father, was first and foremost the Khal of the horde and that all of its members, included her, had to do what he told them. Not a single objection would be tolerated, specially from his daughter for as much as he loved her.

indent"Pok gewjir hefoc vin Enta, Zhavvi." he hissed, but was interrupted by a river of questions meant to break his severity. Those were the ones he hated the most. He wasn't stupid. He knew how manipulative his daughter could be and all the games she liked to play. He wasn't goiung to be a subject to her tricks. "Kwi pok coi vafik! Wux vucot si itov wux, vur batobot ui kii wux geou tir lae si yenta ios visidark. Yth confna tenpiswo tagoa di wux, ti ve; vur coi ui tagoa di wux batobot si nakta slathalinir ihk hesi waphic. Zyak wux geou majak throdenilt tekilek vur pok drekim mishun vi ulnot moxt riika!" he hissed again, this time turning around and looking away, giving even less importance to his daughter's tantrum even though deep inside her questions were hurtful.

Haha it is alright <3

Rakharo was probably the only one that could see through her little tricks. Zhavvi was displeased that he didn't fall for it like her uncle would. Zhav seemed genuinely upset now. She had angered her father. She disliked him being angry with her even though it was her own fault for behaving in such way. She felt even worse when he said he moved everyone and everything for her. Zhavvi didn't want to move that was clear from the start. "Shar si nurti wanat ekess movi, opsola," Zhavvi returned with a sad sigh. It was clear that the young female was unhappy with her situation.

Her frown settled more onto her face as her father said he loved her but also called her a foul word that she wasn't suppose to be called. She just didn't understand why her father was not telling her things. "Shar kii?! Svabol ui coi batobot si tira yth rigluin ekess ossalur zyak kiarf," she sighed with the frown still on her face. She wanted to go home and have her father stop being so protective of her.

omg Rakharo would be so pissed if he knew about Zhavvi and uncle Vakho :o

indentIt was when Zhavvi asked what she had done to make the Khalas move that Rakharo understood she really didn't know what was going on. It was true, she had been the reason, but she hadn't done anything to make Rakharo make such decision. It stung in his heart to only think about telling Zhavvi what had happened back in Rhaesh Dahaan, it was too grim, but someday he would have to admit that Zhavvi was quickly becoming a tough girl, an adult, and that she would need to know the truth.

indentRakharo sighed looking at the dark horizon, Zhavvi had hit just r¡the right spot. He turned around and licked his daughter's nose in deep affection. "Wux tira ti tir tivol, Khalakki." he whispered, pain clear in his voice for as much as he tried to hide it. "Phlita youwei shinalta persvek Rhaesh Dahaan, sia danthe, vur si rigluin ekess troth wux. Shar batobot ui ti jathila jaka. Yth re tokeq tenpiswo. Tir ti xihood zahae hesi boja."

Omg I know right! :O So exciting! We are exploring the boundaries how far they should go. Also this is so cute <3

Zhavvi now realized that being genuine is the way to go with her father. Frankly, that was how it should be. She should be honest with her father. From now on Zhav would try to not use all those tricks of her on him. It only seemed to anger the male. Curiously she looked at him. Her green eyes were full of wonder. Zhavvi smiled when she was called a princess and moved more against her dad. In the moment alone she could really use some dad cuddles. That was the thing, Zhavvi wanted to act all tough, and she most definitely was but just like her father she was sometimes in need of a cuddle too.

"Dask loreata," she whispered and let her ears fall back in sadness. She never knew her mother, she was fed by the coyote slaves or other females that gave milk after that it was the meat from he father she got. There was always this feeling of an imbalance. She licked her father back with the same affection. "Si siofme wux xihood throdenilt zahae hesi dout boja loupon si tir," she returned. Zhavvi rested her head against her father's broad shoulder, as she looked at the same horizon. "Si tuor ekess waph, opsola. Si tuor ekess elore vur tafiaf lyrik cues. Ocuir svabol ui ekik mobi... jaka yth re persvek nomenoi z'ar lands vur yth jalla yor throdenilt zahae coi. Wux jalla ti qe tesantamaso di wer youwei batobot shilta ouith ve."

Aww I know <3 Wait until Rakharo knows of that thread... That is going to be cute... D:

indentThe pain that his heart felt as he heard those two words was unbearable. Mother died. But she didn't, she was murdered. Savaged. And two brothers of Zhavvi had been as well. That's what she didn't know. It hurt not being able to tell her, knowing that she was oblivious about the atrocities her Grandfather had been capable of.

indent"si tir ti xihood zahae hesi boja, khalakki. si xihood zahae hesi whais. zahae hesi papref. nomeno ui hesi tobor jaka." he said in a low voice, resting his head on top of his daughter's. Zhavvi was adventurous, a true Dotharan. Wanderer's blood ran through her veins, and there was nothing Rakharo could do about that. ""Wux vucot... Wux ultro filki hefoc jacioniv... Dout dask jahus agantal zyak halkiva zahae wer treskri... Shar si shilta ti origato wux gethrisj kiri karif, khalakki, si rigluin ekess vucot batobot wux re tokeq... He will be so mad omg. xD Maybe he should never find out >D

Zhavvi could almost feel her father's pain when he rested her head against hers. She nuzzled more agains this to show his her support. She knew that her father was still mourning at times. The fact that she had her mother's eyes was probably not helping either. Zhavvi still needed to grow out into a more muscled body, if she was ever going to look more like her dad and uncle. Maybe she would always stay slender as she was now. The female would probably grow a bit taller over the next few months. At least she hoped so. "Re wux tesantamaso mobi geou qe ehs di ekik pluvt yth tepohada spical okarthel?" the girl asked.

The green eyed girl liked to hear about her mother and her two brothers. She wondered how things would be if she had two brothers. She would probably have to fight to get the attention. Her father didn't had any sons as of now to train and prepare to be the next Khal. Which is why Zhavvi wanted to prove herself. She could be a Khaleesi. She was determined. "Si inglata ekess nurti jaseve nomeno khalas, opsola. unless voga khal xkhatic sia rumag." This was the first time she ever mentioned something about a mate. She was starting to think about such things more now. The benefits that came with it... "Si geou origato wux troth ve hefoc vi opsola sjek wux majak ve wer frem ekess xkhat vi arytiss vur exnce tobor. Batobot soed xuut. Si tuor wux ekess qe sia opsola vur herunga ve. Shar si vsist tuor ekess start slathalinir. Si tuor wux ekess anku ve. Si mi ti vi delie anon seng ini dout symba ekess qe mlasup."

So.. I don't do PP... But I'm just going to pretent Zhavvi said the "mate" part at the end for my post to work with yours.. If you don't mind...? :P

indentWith his head rested on Zhavvi, Rakharo could feel the sweet hum of her voice on his own skin. She had always been a reminder of the only woman he'd ever loved, her mother had been a goddes by the Khal's side and he just hoped his daughter would some day be held in the same regard as the beautiful Zhalia.

indentIt was true that Khal Rakharo feared for the future that awaited his Khalas, uncertainty had never been as strong before, but he still had faith in the universe. He knew that he hadn't made a bad decision by leaving Rhaesh Dahaan, it was his destiny, the Dosh Khaleen had told him so themselves, but he was uncertain and fearful as it only was natural. "Rhoa re ti pluvt, Khalakki. Rhoa re dastudr, vur tobor. yth tir ti ergriff pluvt shafaer Rhoa, yth gahri shafaer astahi vur svadrav yth seilor waoli hesina de Rhoa, yth xkhat plythu".

indent"Si tepohada ekess qe sgos ekess jaseve Rhaesh Dahaan ios irthir di svabol si jahus gethrisjir ekess ehtah, shar si count shafaer wer Dosh Khaleen vur wer xilunwai. Mobi jahus ehis zulf ihk udoka spical persvek wer achuak thaczil, zyak kii zexenuma?"
he explained, knowing that Zhavvi didn't quite agree with leaving the homeland from the start. It had been a decision he had made to protect what was left in his life, and that wasn't something he didn't feel comfortable doing in a place so stained in blood.

indentThe promise Zhavvi made to Rakharo gave him peace, he listened to his daughter ask for freedom, and he beautiful speech was just about to make the golden Khalas cry (not), but it only lasted a second, after which the girl mentioned becoming the "wife of another Khal". There were no other Khali in the world that would be sufficient to please the golden Warrior's standards for his young daughter, and even if there was, he would never allow Zhavvi to leave his Khalas. Khalasi are enemies in the field by nature. There had never been two Khalasi that could coexist as long as they weren't the same. This was the piece the young girl was missing. A very, very important piece. And it made Rakharo furious.

indent"Svabol tir wux jatil ini voga Khal, Zhavvi" he said after pulling his head away from hers. "Wux geou nurti xkhat tivol di tikilvi batobot tiric ti belhal ekess sia Khalas, wux nymuer ve, Vafik? mobi ui thric visidark zahae coi!", he said in tranquil fury.

All good <3

Zhavvi let out a soft sigh when her father spoke about the bison with such love. She was fond of them too, compared to these weird long legged deer they had here bison was far better. But she didn't see them as 'life' or anything like that. Maybe because she was young she could still make the switch and adjust to these lands? Her slender body stayed close to the strong one of of her dad. She wasn't going to admit that to her father because then he might be hurt and mad at her. "Si filki llewarin coi. Coi ui zyak weyotipre de wer lands yth tepoha tenpiswo ghoros udoka," she admitted. Yet in all secrecy she liked how different it was too. Zhavvi couldn't explain it, she missed her old home but she also did not. It depended on the day.

Zhavvi had to make a quick recovery after her father swallowed her words all wrong. She wouldn't mind finding another Khal and be his Khaleesi. But those words weren't spoken now. "Thric opsola wux itrewic ve shio xuut. Si meant jeik huena si mi Khaleesi di nomeno Khalas. Wer Khal si geou tepoha lae sia rumag geou xurwk ve throdenilt jacida loupon si mi douta lae vi hianag. Persvek wer diieson idol batobot Khal ui sia khal. Sia welun vur iski. Coi ui vi weyotipre itov loupon wer ir si tepoha ihk wux opsola. Si tira ti jatil ekess pazien wux," the girl smoothly returned and then licked over her father's cheek. If only Zhavvi knew what she would do with her uncle in the future. At least it was someone of her father's Khalas.

@Zhavvi sorry for the wait! Want to wrap it up and have a new one? We could spree sometime for me to get to 100 quickly! :D

indentThe Khalakki didn't know what her father would have said if he ever got to know about her uncle and her. He was indeed from the Khalas, but he was of blood, and incest was unthinkable in such a radical culture. She would, eventually, put the weight of the world on her and it would probably crush her. But for now, she was doing really good at containing Rakharo's rage.

indentZhavvi promised she would never mate a Khal from another Khalas, which in some way made the unforgiving Khal cool down. It was the logical course of things for his only daughter to marry the next Khal. That, of course, if he didn't sire any more children, especially males.

indent"Wux tir ti rigluin ekess xihood zahae batobot jaka, Khalakki. Si geou put wux persvek vi bensvelk goawy mrith vi bensvelk sthyr svadrav wer tairais ui harkt. Shar ihk jaka, wux belhal ekess ve ergriff, vur ekess pamon else." he promised, returning to place his head on top of his daughter's.

indentRakharo meant more than what he said with his words, and he knew that Zhavvi would get the hidden meaning. She was of his property as his daughter, and he was the only one with the right to chose a mate for her. She did not posess that freedom as a Dotharan female, and there was no place in Rakharo's mind for any other way to do things. It was custom. And Rakharo was loyal to custom.

Yes! We could spree that he smells her uncle on Zhavvi. >D

The girl nodded at her father's words. She would never get to choose the one she wanted to mate. Her father would make that choice. It was the way of her culture. But maybe she could have some influence, if she liked a male, then she would make sure that her father would like him too. Oh yes. She then cuddled into her father. "Vur si jikahshi wux geou xurwk vin mombasso chiciz ihk ve," She spoke was was expected for her to say.

She then licked under her father's jaw to make him a bit more mild with his actions. No one could deny loving kisses from ones daughter could they. "Itov wux, opsola."
