Using this for Chronicler :D

The dark star traveled through the dark wood searching for one thing: the river. The night of storytelling had got her thinking of her own childhood urban legends. Ohen's story of dragons had made her think of her mythical creature. The Loch ness monster. The slippery fish-like lizard were said to be dragons of the sea. Always suspicious. Always watching. Only flying fowl where able to catch a glimpse of Nessy in the murk depths. Only the most patience wolves can see even her eyes poke out of the water.

Her paws swiftly carried her to the river, where she sat and waited. Waited ever so patiently for the rivermonster.

@Lusa mind bumping this to present day?

Damien's adventures had taken him to the river this time. He was out looking for the monster that had attacked Potema, and he was almost completely sure it had been one of those giant dragons Ohen had talked about that night in the story night gathering. He wanted to find one of them himself, and he would kill it and bring it to ohen. His fake god dead. That would show him that only Sithins and Mephala were worty of adoration for their intricate control of the lives of the mortal.

In the shadows, Damien followed the river upstream, making no sound, being invisible like a proper Dark Brother. He knew dragons weren't easy to find and if he was going to do do he would need to be cautious not to scare them away. But what he found was nothing close to a dragon. It was just a wolf. A common and mortal little wolf.

Still, Damien approached in the shadows, stalking the female that laid on the river's edge, making sure nothing he did gave away his position. And he was being damn good at it. The river drifted away his scent, and his dark pelt blended perfectly in the shadows. He was a ghost, invisible.
