Keiran strode from his spot, where he had been sleeping, and he walked about. The blood slowly began to circulate back in his veins. He kept a wary eye on everything around him. Since he had found out that Bazi was expecting, he had been a little more territorial, a little more feral. He had to protect those babes when their dad was unavailable, they were their future. He sniffed once or twice and continued on.

As he traversed the borders, his mind churned and he thought of the current affections he was experiencing and honestly. It scared him half to death, while filling him with such guilt it was almost crippling. He wasn't sure if he could get over this, if he could move on, no matter how dearly he wanted too. He also needed to get his head out of his arse and quick, or his chance was going to be gone.

However, how did you change something without speaking of something that you had swore you never would. It wasn't as if it was that easy? And wouldn't it be better if he didn't try, wouldn't she be better off with out him. He had proven years before, that he was not a good man to have. He got you killed, Kieran sighed and stood still for a moment, his head bowed and eyes closed. He couldn't make himself move, and he didn't know what to do. So he stood still thinking.

@Kieran I hope you don't mind me bumping this to present day. I feel like I could use this towards Counselor! :D

Slowly padded the Maester through the woods as he looked for a cold drinking spot. The sky was cloudy, but the heat was impossible to ignore, summer was already starting to push in with full strength. Aro knew that the seasons were predictable just as they were unpredictable, sometimes striking ruthlessly, sometimes too softly.

After cooling down with a long while of drinking, the old maester decided to do some border recognition. It would be useful to denote where the territory ended and what was useful in-and outside of it, but his plans were interrupted when he scented a younger pack-mate closeby. He was visible in the distance, large as a bear, and grizzly just like one, it reminded him of his own youth. He had been wanting to introduce himself with the pack, and it was about time to get to know the highest ranking members. This was clearly one of them.

The maester approached slowly keeping his tail and stance down, respectful.

I don't mind at all
softly.

Kieran stood in the quiet, unmoving and silent. His own thoughts loud in his head, so loud in fact he was certain someone would come by and hear them as they passed him. Large feet swept wide apart and head down, he looked as if he was about to attack another, when he really wasn't. Unless you counted attacking his own self, inside the chambers of his deepest heart.

Had Kieran heard the males thoughts, and calling him young he probably would have laughed. Kieran himself was no longer young. He was an older wolf, five years old now. He was past his prime, though not old by any means yet, but he was getting there. Yes indeed he was getting there. Kieran heard quiet footfalls and he threw his head up to see who was there, nares flaring as he caught the scent of a new member, but Scimitar was paramount in this one's coat, so he was one of them. Kieran's thoughts were indeed loud, for they screamed in his facial expression just how troubled he was inside. Aro couldn't help but stare for a moment at him, trying to get those faint hints of what he might be thinking about, he was good at that, almost a talent. It was clear in his eyes that confusion and remorse were main factors of the big guy's troubles, but, as always, Aro couldn't be 100% sure.

The man spoke with a thick accent, one that Aro thought he'd never hear again for it was unusual. Luckily, he had no trouble understanding. He returned the greeting with a gentle nod of his head and took a moment to recognize the man's scent. "What's your name?" he asked with curiosity. All he knew about the pack was that the Alphas had a young litter and that Kaskara was the Alpha male's sister.

Kieran took a deep breath, and schooled his expression as he had been taught. Shuttering the emotions that played across his maw, and in between his eyes. Kieran had many more troubles than most, and the grief that still lay heavy on him after years, was no exception. It had been a long time coming, and he still tortured himself. However, he had no idea how to stop.

Kieran gave the other male a small smile and tilted his head at his question. Mahogany ears thrusting forward, tilting so the scar that marred his face was in the shadows. It had learned that coping mechanism long ago, to keep others from fearing his mug. Is mise Kieran O'Mallery. What's yers?

Although the male tried to hide it, his scar was large enough to be a main facial feature of his, but in Aro's opinion it was a mark to be proud of, regardless of what the story behind it was. Of course, Aro didn't know the story, but by the way Kieran behaved about the mark Aro could make some assumptions and be almost exact in his guessing.

"Aro Silvanuk. Maester." he returned politely with a bow and all. "Is something bothering you, Kieran? I couldn't help noticing a certain sadness about your eyes..." he asked without remorse. He was a counselor, that was his trade and job.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" he said, trying to sound as warm and trustable as possible, but that was just natural in him.

Kieran knew very well how large his scar was, how it took up most of his face. He also knew though that it caused others to be frightened and he tried to hide it or at least make it smaller. They tended to think he was a dangerous fellow with such a mar. Kieran gave the other male a polite smile and tilted his head waiting for the other to speak.

Keiran listened to his name, Aro Silvanuk...Maester? What was a maester. Deciding to just ask outright, he did just that. The english language was so confusing to him sometimes. Well met Aro. Maester? Waaat is a Maester? the next question caused the big wolf pause and he froze for a moment. He didn't want to talk to anyone about anything of that nature. He didn't want to talk to his past, Kaskara deserved to know, but she would be the only one he would tell. No one else needed to know his intimate secrets. Jist lashings on me mind is al'. Tinkin through sum things. 'owaya?
