@Raziel :D

Scarlett felt so bad for Raziel. She traveled all the way to Black Feather for a healer but it so happened that Potema was attacked by someone else. Meldresi needed to stay with her child and Potema could also not help them, obviously. A soft sigh travel off her lips. She would have to make use of her care taking skills then. The female got one of the fat otters they caught together on their weekly hunt. The light female carried it back to the alpha den where they were keeping Raziel. It was only logical that way they could keep the male close. The alpha den consisted of a main room with three bedchambers attached to it.

Scarlett got inside and went to Raziel. She placed the otter before him since he needed to eat. The fresh meat would do him well. Then she moved over him to start licking over his wounds. She went to the wetlands too to get the Canadian Anemone that Néa had told her about. It wold keep the wound from scarring too much. She re-applied the paste on one of the heavier wounds. "Do you want some water too?," she asked softly. Maybe the small walk to the water in front of the den would do him well. Hopefully it wouldn't cause him too much pain.

The injuries did not matter much to the warrior, but he loathed being under care and not being able to do anything by himself. He had regained conscious but was still rather severely injured, his wounds were numerous and though most were light scratches, there were a few serious ones, especially the ones on his chest, the one that nearly had him dying. Thank gods they had the herbs needed for him to stop dying and that he had managed to say all he could about wounds before he faded away. When Raziel woke up, he had been surprised to see he was still alive, and glad, no healer had arrived though, it had been his packmate's efforts and his own that kept him alive. He was deeply thankful for them, but it would take years for him to actually admit that.

That night, he slept fitfully in the Alpha's den and it was only in the morning did he realize that he had a fever. But Raziel could do nothing about it, the gods took pity upon him and sent him to the realm of Somnus until Scarlett arrived back at the den. Her scent drew him away from his sleep and into conscious, he blinked tiredly at her as she placed an otter carcass in front of him and began licking over his wounds, applying paste on some of his injuries then asked him if he wanted water too.

Raziel gazed at the otter carcass in front of him, lowered his head and touched it with his nose before nudging it away. "I don't want to eat..." he murmured softly, "I think I have a fever." Water would do him good but in his current condition, he doubted he could move at all.

Scarlett let out a huff. There was a reason she didn't have an interest in being a healer because it was a bit of ungrateful work. Even with Adlartok she had nursed. "I hunt it so you will eat it. You need nutrients," she pointed out without any room for discussion. "If you are not eating it yourself I will chew it for you like I would for my young, with the only exception I will push it down your throat. Your choice," she pointed out. She was strict but was wasn't saying it unkindly. Scarlett then looked over him worriedly and got out of the den to gather moss with cold water from the stream. She had several trips up and down the stream so Raziel could drink water through the moss.

The red eyed female had no clue what she could do against fever. When she lived at the glacier and Ad had a fever she held him in the cool glacier water to cool down. She didn't have that here and Raziel was so big she couldn't even drag him to the stream in front of their home. "I will go and look what I do against a fever, alright?," she spoke more softly. Then she offered him a bundle of moss. "Here drink the water from his."

Raziel's ears caught the sound of his caretaker huffing rather indignantly, or that was what his fevered state of a mind could make out. The albino spoke, saying that she caught it and therefore he had to eat it, that he needed nutrients and if he would not eat it, Scarlett would chew it and stuff it down his throat. Raziel, already mad at being unable to serve the pack and now was being attacked by fever, simply scowled and scoffed darkly. "You caught it? Or did the pack catch it?" he said rather rudely, turning his gleaming green gaze to his Alpha female's red ones. "I doubt you'll be able to stuff it down my throat," he continued, that was true, even in his wounded state, Raz was still quite strong and equally stubborn. But he gave in for once and grudgingly bit into the otter carcass.

When he finished, Raziel raised his silver crown and listened as his leader said she would go and see what she could do against a fever, then offered him a bundle of moss. "You can collect feverfew, I saw some near the river. They grow near the water. You'll see a small bush filled with flowers resembling daisies, has a sharp tangy smell and small soft leaves. Eating it will help fever." The warrior cocked his head slightly, concentrating. "There's also lavender, can be found it spots sunny spots with sandy soil. The smell helps."

The injured wolf shuffled himself backwards back into his bed and drank some water from the damp moss before fixing his surprisingly bright green gaze to Scarlett and spoke, "I'm sorry for my attitude earlier," he began, not used to apologising. "Its just that I'm frustrated that I'm unable to help the pack and now I have a fever and.." he shrugged helplessly.

Scarlett sat with him and then looked at Raziel. "I caught it while being with the pack," she responded. There had been a pack hunt and since she was the gamekeeper of the pack it was her job to initiate the hunt and make sure there was enough food for all. So she made sure to catch an extra juicy one for Raziel. She wanted him to eat it. The upcoming mother was pleased to see that Raziel listened and stubbornly started to eat.

The red eyed female got up when Raziel explained about a special flower for having a fever. Another new thing she learned. "You should become a healer, Raziel. We are in need of one and you seem to know plenty," she pointed out before getting out of the den to get this flower. Raziel was indeed right. She found the flowers quick enough and returned to the den with a whole batch of the flowers like a typical mother would, mixed with Lavender of course. Scarlett had taken a moment to return but then she had everything.

Scarlet placed the bouquet of flowers in front of Raziel and then laid down herself, a bit worn and tired. She had to pee again when she was outside. She was showing hints of showing since she was so small in size. She nosed over her belly and then smiled, to then turn her head to Raziel. "I know you are, Raziel," she returned kindly. "You saying sorry means a lot though. I know it is no fun to just lay here and be useless but you learned me quite a lot about flowers by now. I wouldn't call that useless."

"Thanks," Raziel muttered grudgingly as he finished the otter carcass and licked his muzzle clean of blood. He didn't bother grooming his silver pelt, for he knew if he even tried, pain would caress him from all directions. So it remained dirty and matted. The warrior lay on his belly, his forelimbs tucked as he lay his silver crown onto his paws, green eyes observed his leader as she busied about. A small part of him wondered if Scarlett and Kove no longer slept in this den, after all, they probably wouldn't want to be seen doing their things or cuddling or other kinds of weird lover shit.

"Maybe I will," the prince said wearily in answer to her healer comment. "Or maybe if one of your kids's interested, I can teach them instead." He flashed her a wink. Truthfully, the Roman did not know if Kove had impregnated her yet, but he knew she would probably want kids and with the mate thing official. What could stop them? If the white king was the man the Roman thought him to be, he would put Scarlett's desires before his own.

When Scarlett returned with the flowers, Raziel sat up and swallowed the feverfew, sorting the unneeded feverfew aside for later before shifting back into his previous positions and inhaled the scent of lavender. "Yeah, I suppose," he murmured without enthusiasm.

Scarlett looked rather surprised when Raziel mentioned the young in her belly. She wasn't sure if he just mentioned it unintentionally or not. "How did you know I was carrying?," he asked a bit surprised and then moved her nose down to sniff and see if she was already showing or smelling different. She wouldn't mind to have the others know. She was proud on being pregnant. It was no secret she wanted young ever since she could remember. To raise them right and not in the way she was raised.

"But yes, they could be,' Scarlett then smiled happily. Her tail patted the ground happily. She then sat by him and started to groom his fur. It wasn't as shiny or groomed as it was before and she knew that Raziel was awfully proud for a wolf. She didn't mind to groom him it would keep her busy, plus it gave her a window to think about her young. Wondering how many there would be and how their personalities would be.

A gentle, amused smile spread over the warrior's weary features at Scarlett's questions, "I guessed," he replied simply. "The mateship was official, whats to stop you two? There was also a time when I didn't see a lot of you, I figured it might be because you were in heat." The Roman licked his paw, "bad guessing huh?" So the albino was indeed carrying kids, Kove's children. A flicker of jealousy spread through the injured, matted body of the warrior, it spread like a wildfire, lighting his own being with jealousy and hatred for Kove.

He shoved it away a moment later, it was unreasonable, the copper eyed king was a good man for the albino and he had every right to mate with Scarlett. And Raz had promised to be a brother, not a lover. It was just...perhaps he wanted his own children...perhaps he did want a family. "Congratulations," the silver male beamed at her, no trace of his internal turmoil evident in his features.

A shiver ran down his spine when Scarlett settled down beside him and began grooming his bedraggled fur, his muscles stiffened beneath his sterling coat but a moment later he relaxed and settled his head comfortably on his paws. "It'll be nice to have kids in Bearclaw," he said with a wistful smile.

Scarlett felt a bit flustered but then nodded. "You did a good guess," she admitted and then glanced at him. "I think I will start to show soon. I am not tall big, not much room for the babies," she added, but she wouldn't talk too much about it. Since this wasn't really a topic to talk about with a male. And definitely not their history. Not that much happened but Scarlett did really like him. Only him abandoning her didn't sat well with the pale female. She wondered if he was jealous.

"Thank you Raziel. You will be the best uncle! I'm excited too. I've wanted babies since forever," she admitted and then looked down at her belly a bit before continuing with grooming Raziel. The kind girl was slowly started to adjust to her role as alpha but with a close friend like Raziel she couldn't really act higher than him. She liked the casualness of it. "I wonder what kind of trouble they will get in," he returned to the puppy topic. Her ears then fell back. "I hope none of them look like me," she then admitted very quietly. She didn't want any of her kids come over as weird or strange or seen as a monster.

"Uncle huh?" Raziel laughed softly. "Uncle Raziel, has a nice ring to it, I suppose," the injured male twisted his neck sideways so he could glimpse his groomer and flash her a gentle smile. "Or maybe godfather.." he mused, but anyways, in the end, Kove and Scarlett would make the decision. Hell, they might not even know what godparents were and he didn't really like explaining the complicated concepts of it all, especially when he was tired from the fever and injuries.

"Oh they'll get into lots of trouble," the warrior smiled into his paws, remembering his little siblings. "I might help the too..." he teased, if he stayed alive long enough that is. When Scarlett said she hoped none of them looked like her, Raziel sat up immediately and although it hurt, he ignored the pain and gazed at her. "You're a beautiful woman, Scarlett, and who cares if you have red eyes? That makes you even more special than those bastards out there? Your kids will be lucky to look like you. If you did have a child who is an albino too and other wolves tease him/her, I'll go and personally make sure they can never speak such idiot insults ever again."

With that, he returned to his lying position, burying his muzzle into his paws.

Scarlett nodded excitedly. "Uncle Raz sounds more badass," she then spoke. She didn't know the concept of a godfather. But it sounded important. She wouldn't know if she had one since her family had disliked her so much. She had gotten over most of the insecurity she had but sometimes it resurfaced again. She gently smiled when Raziel confirmed in how much trouble the pups would be in. Oh dear. But she couldn't really stop that did she? They needed that for their own knowledge.

Scarlett's ears fell back when Raziel spoke about that she was beautiful. She felt flustered since it seemed a bit out of order for her brother to say such things. "Thank you, Raziel. It is just my past. I will make sure all my children are loved equally," she spoke with more confidence. Though it was more a fake confidence. It was just one of those days she didn't feel too certain about herself. She did lack a bit of that Alpha Dominance at times, luckily all the wolves in her pack weren't ones that would defy her that easily. "Do you want to rest?"

A deep chuckle rumbled out of Raziel at Scarlett's comment about how 'Uncle Raz' sounded more badass. "Perhaps you're right," he said with a gentle smile at the thought of young pups clambering over him, asking to play, calling him 'uncle', getting in all sorts of trouble. It was a peaceful life, a beautiful life, one that Raziel could only hope to live in until now. He had always been the wandering sort, drifting from one place to another like an unwanted guest, a ghost.

But Raziel felt he had finally found his place, where he truly belonged. It was in Bearclaw Valley, with his white king and queen, Kove and Scarlett and their litter to be. His packmates came and went and until one stayed true to the valley like he had, they were mere drifting spirits like he had once had. Raziel was a founder and a veteran of the valley but most importantly, he was friends with the leaders, he was family, he was home.

"Loved equally huh? They better me," he murmured softly and when she mentioned resting, he relaxed entirely and nodded. "Rest sounds good."
