can a character give birth a week early?

and would I have to ask my pms to have a premature baby?

Good question considering the new CM puppy register with birthdates. I've done it before (actually I think they were a week late) but not sure what the rule on that is now.

Yes, just communicate with your puppy players and the CMs — as we are not approving puppy accounts until a day before their birth.

To add onto Lauren's response: I think it's reasonable for a litter to be early or late by up to one week; anything beyond that would go too far past semi-realism, in my opinion. I'd encourage players to invoke complications in these scenarios, though it's not a requirement!
