Bitterroot Valley: An open valley knocks on the door of the Sleeping Dragon, offering a beautiful carpeting of bitterroot the color of vivid fuchsia every spring and summer. The low-growing perennial can only be found here where the soil is dry and rife with open shrubland, dotting the rocky terrain with sprinkles of color. Only when the loamy soil touches the banks of Qeya River does if offer much else, opening back into vast grassland. Migrational herds use the plains every season, making deep ruts of permanent game trails. Rumor has it that the location was once ravaged by fire long, long ago.
