Hey, all! This is Munchmunch. AKA, Mr. Grumpypants! He doesn't like anyone, and loves to chase things. The end result usually being he gets a meal out of. Come make friends with him! If you dare... Muahahaha!

Also, please note in your first post what kind of injuries, if any, you want your wolf to sustain. I'm good with Grumpypants here having one or two punctures wherever and cuts along his body and maybe one on his face. He needs a good face scar. Just keep in mind that if you want the attack to stop,
you have to stop it, usually by stepping away. If you don't want any attack at all... Umm... He's still gonna run at you. ^_^

He had traveled over five miles that day and had not found anything good to eat. And he was grumpy because of it. Then again, when wasn't he grumpy? And when wasn't he hungry? He had a few plants along his journey, even found a rabbit two to eat. But, like always, he wanted more.

His nose said he had entered an area with wolves. The scents were recent. That was fine with him. Maybe there was a youngster he could feed on. Deep into the territory, he happened upon a den. He was sure it belonged to one of the wolves. At least, it used to. It was late and he needed to rest. For tonight at least, it was his.

He scuffled around the entrance to the den, spreading his scent over it, before walking inside. He was sure-footed and wasn't a bit weary of maybe finding a wolf inside. If there was a sleeping wolf inside, it was about to have a rude awakening.

Wolf.

Though she wasn't, per say, the most ideal member of the pack- she'd listened with rapt interest when the details of the pack's beliefs had been detailed, of course- she was quite pleased with herself for having found a place among them. This was pack life- living with other wolves. Not that she'd met any besides the alpha yet, but she'd meet them and love them all the same, she was sure. Just as long as they loved her back- otherwise they'd be regarded as snub-nosed dogs who she wouldn't give a snuff about. The idea of being in a pack thrilled her- she could be as tough and wild as a wolf- even though she'd spent little to no time with them, and had been chased by them many times in the past simply because she looked so much like her mother...And so little like a wolf.

But there she was- having convinced the alpha of her heritage and that at least part of her bloodlines were wolf, she'd been admitted to the pack. She could have sworn, when she looked at her reflection in a stream that morning, that she looked even more wolfish now- maybe her ears weren't quite so big, or maybe her jaw had grown a bit harder, thicker- she wasn't sure what it was, but something about her reflection said wolf. The glint in her eyes and the crookedness of her grin still screamed coyote!!! but she ignored that. She was living like a wolf now, not some vagabond coyote like her brother...Who was just as much wolf and just as much coyote as she.

Now she needed to find a den so that she could live properly, but got sidetracked when she caught the scent of something that reminded her somewhat of a badger. Having never seen a wolverine before, and having not learned any lessons in the past from tracking things she didn't understand (like the first time she'd tracked a skunk or a porcupine and had ended up much worse for the wear) she followed it and was delighted to find that it led to a den. The area reeked of it, and the ground was still even a bit moist from where it had marked its territory. But boundaries weren't something that Finch respected very much. She'd only just begun to accept that she lived within boundaries. Boundaries would take some time to learn.

"Aaaaaaaabadger badger badger badger badger!" She chanted, poking her nose just inside the den's mouth, before pouncing backwards and dancing on her tip-toes with a high-pitched giggle. "Badger badger badger badger badger-" She said, stopping only when she stepped on something somewhat slimy and wet- when she turned her head to observe exactly what it was, she crinkled her nose and said, in a much different tone:

"Mushroom mushroom!"
