@Sanguinus
He’d finally made it all the way over here, rendezvoused with Cry, and was given the basic list of things that needed to get done. While majority of him wanted to rest up with his girl, he knew the duties needed to be taken care of before he could retire for the night. Well, sunset was comin, and he started on his duties. Defending this big ass Forest was gonna take some gettin used to, but Cry was a patient fella who showed the pack greenhorn how thing not only worked, but where what was, and how to handle certain things that might arise. Well as much as he tipped his figurative hat to that, Morgan knee how to protect a pack. He mighta ran with the group of no-gooders, but he was what he was and there was no changing that. Cry had his loyalty for the time being, and while he hoped not to cross the suave leader, Morgan wouldn’t be giving up his principles no time soon.
Just as the sun was closing its eye for the day, Morgan rounded yet another corner of the massive forest. While undeniably indomitable in size, he was wary in case he stumbled upon this rumored bear hideaway Cry had brought up. While he was a big enough size to try and take on a bear, it wouldn’t do him or his girl no good should he wake the think up.
So with golden irises, the behemoth southerner kept his eyes on the scent-road, reinforcing a growing border as it came.

As if his feet weren't his own and some puppet master was pulling the strings, Sanguinus aimlessly wandered back towards the murky woondland, the scenery slowly starting to familiarize around him. He paused just outside the swarthy man's claim and after a brief moment of hesitation continued forward, toes tracing the invisible boundary as his eyes scoured through the timberland in search of any movement. When he found none the paragon came to a stop and debated calling for an audience, though with uncertainty coursing through his veins, decided for better or worse he'd simply be on his way.
That was until he caught the obscure silhouette of the patrolling fellow, his finer features slowly materializing as the fading sunlight slithered though the canopy and revealed an earthly sheen to compliment his gruff renegade appearance. Charcoal ears swept forward atop his crown as Sanguinus wondered if he'd cross paths with the man before or if he just had one of those faces.

Morgan was going about doing his job, when low and behold, some random fella was just standin' around peerin at him as though he was some kinda alien. Did he not know he was near a forming pack? Did this guy think he had right to a free pass from an ass whoopin'?
"You must be dumb as a brick. Either that, yer' as dull as iron. Which one is it, mister?" Graveled baritoned burned a sunny greeting of bitter taste to whoever this man was, starin' at him like some kinda swollen tick. "This pack grounds; either state ya business, or hit the road."
While Morgan was giving the man a very kind offer, his stood confident on the trailed weave he and the others within the posse had woven into the snowed edge of the border. Hell, he didn't even have to walk in the snow; the tree's cannopy held up the majority of the snow, making it rather clear where the forest started and where it didn't. Hibernating grass held chips of ice under thick traveled pads, and he crunched a full 160 pounds of raw muscle on 4 thick limbs that matched. He was moreso built for power than speed, and while he might not'a been the sharpest, he knew how to handle himself in a fight. Even against a man who was just about his size.
Tilting up his chin, the newly settle rogue eyes the ebony and scarlet backed male. "Wassit gone be?"

The quick snap of a few sour words sent charcoal ears flickering backwards, nose scrunching at the brindled stranger as Sanguinus backpedaled a few paces away. "Pardon?" he let out, not familiar with the terms brick or iron and ultimately lost in the translation that left him more confused than anything else. "I did not mean to upset anyone." But apparently he had, and with the current wound on his shoulder still healing, he was not yet in any position to test the patience of the cinnamon and hazel fellow.
"I will be on my way" he announced, mainly because he found no reason to linger any longer and with a well mannered dip of his snout, turned tail and began his departure from the timberline. His ears swiveled atop his ears so that should the rather audacious male decide to follow, he'd be able to flee or fight as needed.

Watching the man flip from dumbfounded to regretful, Morgan mused lowly, “damn, must be both.” Gold champagnes watched carefully the quiet man as he had pardoned himself and made his way out of the vicinity.
Apparently the message was clear. “Guess not”, he ended with a huff before resuming his circuit once the male was gone.

Thankfully things took a rather civilized turn at the end of the brief encounter and he quickly pulled himself from the forest's edge, the last of the stranger's words falling on deaf ears. Perhaps it had been foolish of him to assume all within the murky woodland were as diplomatic as their leader, and for that wrongful assumption he blamed none other than himself. It was a mistake he would do well to correct and as the last of the dreary thicket faded from his vision, Sanguinus slipped away with the intention of not returning for some time - if ever again.
