For @Helios! I know the lyrics are all wonky. Set for April 10th
The sun was seriously beckoning her to come outside and bust her ass again. She stared into the brightness and sighed, rolling over against her brother and then sighing again more dramatically. She flopped back in the other direction and then lay upright, fixing Helios with an intense look, a slow grin forming. "Up!" she chirped brightly "Out!" she urged him, not wanting to be alone. She expected to be grumped at and so she widened her eyes and beamed at him like he was her favorite sibling ever "Pease? Hee-os?" she pleaded cutely, even belly crawling at him and licking at his face with excitement.

The raven is fast asleep, enjoying what moments of peace he can when abruptly he is disturbed. At first, the presence is ignored; Helios grumbles under his sleepy breath and pulls away from his sister's obnoxious attempts at awakening him. Alas, her whining soon enough forces his baby blues open, and the raven narrows his gaze on little Lainie as she comes belly crawling at him. He shows his tiny, razor sharp teeth in a warning with a quiet growl. Her submissive pleading is all that keeps the brother from snapping at her, because of course Helios is ever grumpy when woken up.

Of course Lainie stopped approaching when Helios showed his teeth because she knew he would probably go for it and she was highly against getting her pretty face torn apart. Instead she rolled to her side and widened her eyes, gazing up at him imploringly "Juss weal quick Okay?" she begged her tail beating against the ground. She prayed that her cuteness would do the job here as it normally did with her parents. "I scawwed to go alone" she added in even though it wasn't true, she just got bored alone.

The raven's sister is smart. Once teeth are shown, Lainie backs off, and Helios is content enough to lower his head. He thinks the battle is over before it truly begins. Slumber calls to him, and yet, his sister is persistent. Grumbling under his breath, he opens one eye to gaze upon the begging form of his sister. She is laid out with her belly shown, tail wagging, and already mastering the classic "puppy dog eyes". Ugh. With a sigh, the tired older brother lifts his head. A yawn parts his jaws before he speaks in French; « Why? » What's outside that she wants to see so badly?

She almost switched to just pestering him before he cracked open his eyes and asked her why. She blinked once as her brain slowly processed the question. Why did she want to go outside? Besides boredom and the thirst for adventure she really didn't have a reason she felt Helios would sympathize with. Then the sun's position in the sky shifted and its rays beamed inside, tantalizing but out of reach and it clicked. The sun was warm right? Warm stuff made her sleepy so she was sure that her sleepy brother would love it. "Sun! Its warm and makes me feel good" she responded in imperfect french give or take a few words. "You can nap there" she offered that last. Maybe she would even nap in the sun for a while after poking around.

Sorry for the delay!
The raven boy cannot sympathize with her reasoning. While the sun's warmth felt nice, his eyes still ache at the thought of its brightness. Over time, it has gotten better, but his experience with it nonetheless clouds Helios' opinion. He stares his sister down in thought, and a sigh escapes his lips. Getting to his feet, he urges Lainie to lead the way. Wherever she wanted to go better be worth exerting the energy for. Why she had to bother him instead of Polaris, Zephyr or their parents is also beyond him. Maybe she already had, however, and he is the only one willing to humor her adventure.

thats alright! I totally understand <3
For a moment she had thought he would say no and she looked crestfallen, ears drooping before he motioned for her to go. She wagged and jumped up, almost jumping on him before she remembered he was grumpy and instead she ever so gently touched her nose to his Thanks Hee-os" she said and then flounced out of the den.
Lainie was the outgoing one, she knew this. Her other siblings were Grumpy, Grumpier and soft. She didn't realise she annoyed them so much and if she did she Probably would tell them to live a little and not be such a downer. While she was bothersome though, she was also a sweetheart and so the first thing she did was go search for a comfy spot for Helios. Luckily for her brother, the only spot she deemed worthy was a shady one with a nice soft patch of grass and plants. "Hee-os! Here! It's not sunny but it's soft" she called to him. And then she had one of her few moments of "wait what if that's not good enough" and she looked uncertain "Unless you don't like it. I can help you find somewhere else" she looked just as excited at the thought of helping her brother be comfy as she had about coming outside in general.
