future-dated by a few days to when shes officially a member !! @Vanja
from her over-seeing with the rogue and the storm cloud, nanuralaaq sought out the newest, newest member. a rabbit hung firm within her jaw, scruffy and pale, kissed by the wintertime. the name 'twitch' wrung faintly in her mind, having made a whispering pass around the packland. for a few moments, she would follow the scent of the stranger.
eventually, after a minute or two, nanuralaaq would simply drop the rabbit that took up space within her maw and instead called:
twitch? i have come with snack and conversation,a smile evident in her voice, even if it went unseen thus far.

a voice caught Twitch mid-step, freezing her in place like a bird ensnared. her ears twitched at the sound of her name, head swiveled toward the source. a white-coated woman stood a short distance away, warm and unassuming, the faint lilt of amusement threading her words as if she were an old friend rather than a packmate Twitch barely knew.
twitch hesitated, eyes flicking between the rabbit and her. “oh,” she breathed, her lips quirking in a lopsided smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. “Y'didn't have to do that,”
still, she didn’t retreat. instead, with an awkward shuffle of paws and a faint sigh, she stepped closer. “what’s the occasion?” she asked. it wasn’t mistrust—at least, not entirely—but she was unaccustomed to such gestures

took a hot minute .. sorry for the wait !!! ;;
it was twitch's hesitance that caught the snowwoman off guard for a moment, a second, maybe two. but she watched, then, as quite the charming smile formed, and a warmth bloomed within her, to be granted the opportunity of meeting a new woman! though there were little men within the valley, their scents were thick, constantly reaffirming their hold upon the territories, as if they were compensating for something.
though the thought was humorous, she pushed it away, instead focusing on the newcomer before her.
no occasion,came arctic melodies. nanuralaaq continued, then, ever the talker:
as i say, i come with snack and conversation. you have pledged yourself to the valley, and so i wish to learn more about you, twitch, if you may indulge me,tilt of her pale head, watchful orange eyes ; she was almost doe-like in manner, though there was something in her posture, in the way she held herself, that spoke of something deeper ; the musclework, the careful gaze of a huntress.
but in this moment, such instincts were gone, as she focused on working out this stranger - whom rala soon hoped could be considered a friend. someone she could trust.

twitch eyed her for a long moment, as if weighing the request against some unseen measure. conversation—it was a simple thing, always started that way, and yet her gut twisted at the thought of it. it never ended as it began with her.
still, the woman was nothing if not disarming, her voice spun from the softness of snowfall. her openness felt foreign in a way twitch couldn’t quite name, didn't really want to.
twitch exhaled sharply through her nose, a quiet, reluctant laugh. “not much for conversation, but sure,” she agreed, the smallest flicker of amusement crossing her face.
she drops back on her haunches to sit, flits an ear as she slants her head. “what d'ya wanna know?”

and to her question, snowwoman would blurt:
as if to start, to grow rapport before the newcomer, nanuralaaq would say:
for a moment, she thought.
everything!in an excited fashion, before reeling herself back and taking a careful breath. she smiled, now, though with a self-chiding raise of her brows, and added:
everything you wish to tell, of course. do not feel as though you have to bare your soul nude. i am overjoyed at the joining of another claw, if you cannot tell!her tail would wag behind her.
as if to start, to grow rapport before the newcomer, nanuralaaq would say:
i am quite the social butterfly ; it is my honour to reach out to those who are new to the valley. i only wish to ensure your comfort, and to make it known that there are plenty of friendly faces around, myself included! come to me anytime, for hunt or conversation,a radiating aura of warmth, invitation.
let me prompt you ...
for a moment, she thought.
... how have you found yourself within these lands?

twitch blinked at the enthusiasm, caught momentarily off guard by the sheer force of her excitement. everything? gods, she hoped not. her ears flicked back, but she couldn’t help the small, bemused twitch at the corner of her mouth.
the white she-wolf reeled herself back with a sheepish sort of grace, all warmth and bright-eyed sincerity, and twitch found herself at a loss for what to do with it. the woman was kind, genuinely. there was no pretense, no expectation lurking beneath the invitation, just the simple offer of companionship. it was a strange thing to be on the receiving end of.
she hesitated at the prompt, her ears shifting back in thought. for a moment, she considered shrugging it off—giving some half-hearted, evasive response. But the truth of it was, she didn’t really know the answer herself.
“dunno,” she breathed, “grew up nomadic. just... kept going ‘til I ended up somewhere that didn’t feel like shit.” a pause, then, more thoughtful: “figured it was worth sticking around this time.” her tail gave a small, uncertain flick. it wasn’t poetic, and it wasn’t much of a story, but it was the truth, plain and simple.
