An unexpected twist has taken hold of his life's path yet again, and suddenly Agent finds himself lacking his companion. Cut adrift, alone in the world once more save the purpose he has carved out for himself. There is @Arbiter, yes — but it isn't the same. The bond he'd developed with Sergio is one he will not find again any time soon. Perhaps if his companion was not a man, Agent might have asked him to return; he might have given his own proposal, requested his own place among the older wolf's myriad commitments — but that simply isn't the sort of bond they are meant to have.
