for anyoneeeee.
After the meeting with the silver-eyed stranger Styx wanted to get as far away as possible from the forest that they had met in. His nose was frequently pressed to the ground, searching for her scent so that he could avoid it. Normally the coyote-wolf was exceptional at forgetting those he crossed paths with – especially when he did not exchange names with them – but for whatever reason the coffee-coloured girl managed to linger longer than anticipated. Which caused the yearling to grow extremely frustrated with himself – he had nearly pushed aside the majority of his memories, but he couldn’t shake the silver-eyed girl from his thoughts.
Giving his head a quick shake, the long-legged yearling pushed forward, pointed ears pinned forward as he followed the sound of the bubbling water. Night was slowly fading as the sun began to creep back up into the sky, the air cool as it pushed through strands of his inky fur and kissed the skin beneath. Although he did enjoy a good sleep, the coyote-wolf preferred to travel under the cover of night. His dark pelt made it easy to blend into his surroundings, and the majority of local fauna slept straight through the night which decreased his chances of running into another while the moon was in the sky.
Dew clung to the grass and rocks that were scattered around the creek, illuminated by the sunlight that pushed its way through the trees that dotted the area. Lowering his muzzle to drink his fill, the youth arched his back into the sunlight to embrace the warmth. Lifting his head, the boy continued moving down the side of the creek, seafoam eyes searching the area for signs of movement.
