All Welcome

She came into the world anew.

Her lungs were exhilarated.

She barreled through the plains, leaping over grasses kissed by snow, her paws a beating drum to the ground and her ears attacked by lush winds calling her forward. When she sprang in the air, she could feel the fur on her cheeks lifted by the sky and the mighty force that took her down with it, only for a soft landing that was laced with a skillful craft of a mountaineers. Her run was taking her south, or wherever she could find! Whatever would come would find her, and she would be ready for it!

There are shivers of excitement in her face, her muzzle scrunching as a big smile formed across her lips and she shook out the anticipation. She'd never been out alone before! Never this far from home- never so free, and so wild! She was ready to prove it. Outsiders didn't have to be scary- they could be, they were wonderful!
She was ready to prove that she could do it, that the world was not a scary place, but a beautiful one.

saying this is before his raid on the redtails

A spirit set free in the mortal realm, it hungered to taste new life, new knowledge, new blood. The promise of chaos and destruction brought a smirk to the face of the shikigami, yet there was a glaring problem. Trapped in the body of a wolf, it was but a fraction of its former self. So constrained, so restless, so weak - it could do nothing but whisper in the ear of its flesh and bone.

The vessel stalked the grasslands, paws crunching autumn snow as his tongue flicked snake-like to wet his nose. The scent of deer flooded his nostrils, he licked his lips hungrily, breaking into a trot - until a flash of white caught his eye. Watching momentarily as the creature leaped high into the air, he wasted no time in giving chase, not realising the true identity of what he persued until it was likely too late.

What joy! The breeze, the birds- even the little flies and jumpy squirrels; though, she would dodge those. No can do, no sir!
No squirrels for her! The scent of elk had been abundant, and though she wanted to try and go for one, maybe she could find something smaller. Something that didn't risk knocking her incapable of walking for the next week, or month, or gods forbid, next year!

Bolting through the plains, it had been the sound of other steps, ones behind her, loud steps, that made her alarm bells chime. Her run became wobbly, her head forming to a turn to look behind her to see a small, but charging figure.
A loud gasp blubbered out, and she nearly fell upon her feet there, only for her hind legs to take control and push her forward with great weight, away from the pursuer.
"Stop! Hey!" she cried, looking behind her constantly, failing to keep a steady stride ahead. "What are you doing?!" Fear took over, and her fluttering heart turned to choking beats. "I'm sorry!" she tried unknown reason, panicked!

The figure stumbled and Orobashi's steps did too, realising upon closer inspection that it was a girl. Was she lost? From the sounds of her babbling and the steadily rising shriek in her voice, it was clear she was terrified. She was scared of him.

A feeling of great power surged through Orobashi as he let her run, slowing his own steps to a walk as ruby eyes raked across her supple frame. Her cries fell on foreign ears and seemed only to add fuel to the serpent's little game. After a heartbeat, he would speed his pace again, catching up to nip at her heels before falling back to a lazy stride, tail flagged,

When his pace changed, so did hers- but she swore that she could notice some sense of, well, reason! When he slowed, so did she, stumbling forward with her chest, and her feet coming to a smooth stop. He was stopping! Oh, good, she could talk, and maybe she was beyond whatever border that she'd crossed. Quickly clicking her mouth open to talk, her fear came bounding back to her in leaps as she scrambled back to a sprint ahead!

No, no, no! Oh, dear! Where was she at?! "I'm sorry! I'm SO sorry! I'm sorry!" With a stark yelp, fueled somehow by fear and not the pain of nips, her legs soon made effort more than ever to put her yards ahead. She winced and mumbled to herself all of the bad mistakes she must have just made! Oh, where did she cross?! Was she not paying enough attention? She didn't think that she crossed any line. Oops! Well, maybe he was just playful, or- confused! Maybe he thought she was someone different!

Coming to a stop again, she looked to him with her tail tucked. "Hi! Im so sorry, did I cross a border? I didn't mean to. Can I make it up? It's just- I'm not from close to here, and, well," Saga's lips were at a fierce stretch back from stress.

A disfigured grin wormed its way onto the vessel's features, though it did not come from enjoyment. Hunger burned in his belly - deer or not there was meat on her bones and he would be loath to let her go until he had been satisfied.

Orobashi's vision swam and swayed as she came to a rest at his feet, shrieks filling his ears. She was so loud! So, so loud, and he wanted her to stop. Growling low, he met her gaze with a glassy expression of his own. Blood roared in his temples. All of his insides, his outsides, and his head cumulated in an ugly shriek - he would lunge for the flesh on her nape, tongue itching silence her right from the source of the sound.

he's a weirdo I'm so sorry, feel free to decide if he hits or not <3

She sharply gasped! “I’m s- I’m SO sorry!” He was just upset. He only wished to speak it out with her, to talk through this and reassure her that this was all a huge misunderstanding of a poor mistake. One she knew she made, and one she knew she couldn’t fix, but maybe she could fix the start they had been given with one another.

The closeness she allowed turned to the end she saw only in dark fairytales. Her neck felt a warmth that made let out a terrible cry until teeth were digging at her. Teeth chattering, her bottom jaw trembled against her top as her breath came quick, then to a stop as she quit breathing. Her muscles clasped themselves, and slow shakes turned into a wild struggle to get him off! Her neck twisted and her head thrashed with her body. “Get- OFF! Please, get OFF!
