anyone but a puppy would be especially welcome =)
Autumn had visited her family for the reunion a few days ago. Ot had been lots of fun. Vulpus and Storm had showed, and they had all shared what had happened while they were apart. Storm had learned spanish, Vulpus had settled down in a place called Sleepy Fox Hollow, and her father, mother, and aunt had all stayed at Silvertip. Autumn told of various wolves she met, as well as the crow and the white cougar with red eyes. Then they had all told stories of spirit foxes before they said their goodbyes till the next reunion, where they would come together again.
Autumn was now in Stavanger Bay, on the beach. She had a feeling she would encounter someone or something although she didn't know just yet who or what.

In-between hunting, the knight patrolled the borders, marking the barriers with his scent and reinforcing them. Mordred trotted alongside the sands, his pawprints disappearing as the waves swallowed them up steadily. Sir Mordred continued his duties, stopping to mark here and there, sniffing spots to check for intruders of any kind. For the moment it seemed all clear. That was until he saw the fox.
She did not seem like a dangerous vulpine, then again, it was close to winter and who knows what foxes were plotting to do. But he trusted that he could put her down if she did pose a threat, and for now he would great her cordially. "Well met, vulpine."

She looked up to the voice of a dark gray and white wolf. Autumn smiled a little. Her feeling had been right. "Hey bro! I'm Autumn." She hoped he would not hunt her down or attack her. It was not uncommon for wolves to began chasing her. She thought eating her was like cannibalism. They were both canine- it was like them eating a coyote or a dog. She thought of vulpine as a smaller category that encased foxes. Her cousin Vulpus' name was derived from the word Vulpine. It reminded her of the family reunion, and what fun they'd had. Now she would go on her second journey around the Wilds, perhaps seeing them the next time she reached Silvertip.

He was not interested in chasing her off, and even if he had to, he would not eat or kill her. The knight was trained to beat an opponent down, never to kill, and while he broke that rule sometimes, for the most part he upheld it. He smiled gently at the orange-red canine, drawing in her enthusiasm and mirroring it. "And I am Sir Mordred Pendragon. Do you live around here?"

"Nice to meet ya'. I travel, but I stay within the Wilds." She explained. Autumn didn't really have one permanent home, but she lived just fine off traveling. Her parents and her aunt lived at Silvertip. From what Vulpus said at the reunion, she lived in Sleepy Fox Hollow. Storm wandered but stayed near Black Feather Woods, as he had a crow friend who was teaching him a new language. Her family had different living tastes.

He hadn't heard of wandering foxes before. True, he had met other nomads, but never one of the vulpine races. The ones he had seen stayed in one place, mainly because they had no where else to go. "Is it fun, the nomadic life?" He had only seen a few places in his life, though more than the average wolf in Albion and Orkney. But never had he tried to walk about and explore, never knowing what one would see next. It seemed fun, he had to try it sometime.

"Definitely! It's so fun! I get to see everyplace and meet wolves of all kinds, and experience how they live in that terrain for a few days before I move on. It's mostly fun 'cause of the meeting new people though." She said, her eyes lit with enthusiasm. She loved living this way, and she felt a little sorry for those who lived, what Autumn thought was a life that was the same routine everyday. It would get so boring.
