Sunfil.That familiar scent brought with it all the old rage, the grief he still hadn't quite let himself feel. He couldn't. Not yet. So he swallowed the ever-present pain of a father's loss, feeling as if he might choke on it, and set himself to the trail. This was his task.
It led to a pack.
He stood at its borders, surveying the tall stones from afar, and wondered what horrors they might have already seen. After a moment he called out for an audience.

she kept herself busy for it kept bitterness at bay.
when someone called, it was the perfect distraction. she was quick with her smallness. eyes swept over the stranger. he seemed strong and was easily taller. she had become keenly aware of the fact she never had another growth spurt and that she never put on weight after losing the puppy fat.
