All Welcome
Amalia had not moved away from the Great bear. Not because she hadn't wanted too, but frankly she was tired and it was winter. She could not go far and survive on her own. She also however didn't want to join another pack, but she knew she might have too and soon. She was a fair hunter, an even better scout. But winter was scarce hunting anyway. And she did not wish to die this year.

So a visit to moonspear then. Perhaps to see her brother, perhaps her niece. Killdeer was here as well and she wondered after him. She wanted to call out to any of them, and yet she was stopped with anxiousness and fear. What if she ruined this pack like she had ruined both Natgvik and Brecheliant. Desolation just seemed to follow her. She warred between indecision. Neither calling or leaving the borders age. As she grappled with her own heavy emotions.

It was some time between Amalia's appearance and Killdeer's discovery. She was pacing when he found her, and he trotted down the slope with a delighted chuff, breaking into a gallop once he found flatter ground.

Hey, he told her, nuzzling her cheek. You're here. I'm so happy to see you.

He pulled back with a grin, tail wagging furiously. His spirits were lifted tremendously by her appearance, even if his heart hammered in his chest with the thought that, perhaps, she was here to say she was moving on.

But she was here.

She heard a chuff and lifted her head. And then braced for impact with a laugh on her face as Killdeer raced towards her. If it had been her, she'd have run right into him. No on purpose mind, but that was a straight shot downhill and he had picked up speed. But teh hit did not come.

She returned the nuzzle, a lick to her nose. Hello. Thank you. I'm happy to see you too!

A wag of her tail. She was delighted to see him. Even if part of her was still anxious about well everything.

I've not gone far. It's winter and frankly I'm moping.

Well, mope no more, Killdeer told her. Welcome to Moonspear!

He sighed happily, then glanced back up the mountain, returning his gaze to her in question. You're here to stay, right? he asked, brows raised.

There was still doubt in his mind. He felt as if good things had been dangled before him before, only to be snatched away before he could reach out and. . .

I'll call for @Sialuk if so, he tacked on, perhaps trying to manifest the most positive outcome.

A laugh, green eyes bright with mirth. But her thoughts still weighed heavy. It was not Killdeer of course. It was the fact that all her packs had just sort of imploded. What if she did that here too.

But if nothing else Amalia was an agreeable wolf. And she tried to think on the bright side. So nothing would happen, she hoped. Moonspear wouldn't break if she was part of it. Right....

Yes. before she could second guess herself.

Good, he murmured, and moved to touch his muzzle to her cheek if she'd allow. Then he tipped his nose back and called for Sialuk, and the summons shivered into the air as the silence fell around them.

Killdeer looked at Amalia with a curious stare, head slightly cocked. How long's it been since you've lived alongside your brother? he asked, thinking of Alaric. It's cool—you'll get to hang out with your niece, Kinusi. She's a sweet girl.

So many had dispersed; he was glad Kinusi was still among them. Little did he know that she was also planning on shifting packs, too.

A lick to his cheek when he touched her. Green eyes aglow. She studied the borders with a small sense of trepidation. Would she take this pack to ruin?

The sound calling out to Sialuk. She tried to put face to name. And could not. Had she met her? Surely she had.

Amalia wrinkled her nose in thought. Goodness. Since we were children. Even when we both left. We rove together but didn't stay with each other long.

Amalia laughed. Don't let her fool you I bet. If she is anything like my brother there is a rascal under that sweet nature.

Killdeer's call pulled Sialuk away from the bone reading she had been doing, though it was not an unwelcome summons. Their differences had been set aside, and she was happy to have a friend in her children's father. The sage was not sure what task needed her attendance, but she jogged down the mountain with ease, the paths just as familiar to her as the back of her paws.

There Killdeer was, chatting with a woman Sialuk did not recognize. She lifted a brow briefly at him as she slowed her gait, eventually coming to face both of them with a pleasant, questioning smile on her face. This woman greets you, she said to the green-eyed one.

Her touch sent electricity through him, and he sucked in a deep breath, then let it out, extremely contented.

Maybe she gets it from her mother, then, Killdeer replied, and was about to tease her further when Sialuk appeared, elegant and ethereal, greeting them with her usual grace.

Sialuk, this is Amalia, he introduced his paramour, nodding toward her. She's Alaric's sister. She belonged to Brecheliant before that pack dispersed, and is now seeking a new home.

He turned to 'Mal with a smile, allowing her to speak on her own behalf if she so chose.

Oh goodness they were not alon3. A pretty silver thing came upon them. Amalia blinked. No wonder killer had been enthralled by her she was beautiful. Ahe wondered if her brother was alright in the head since he had not tried. But truth be told though Alaric played the field. He preferred the company of men or flings that he need not get attached.

Hello. I'm sorry I didn't bring a gift. She smiled and laid her ears to her skull and then chuckled.

Yes Alaric is my brother. I am a scout and a hunter. I have run many messages. I also tell stories on occasion. Though I'm not as skilled as Alaric.
