All Welcome

The young man's wandering had caused him to stumble further into unknown lands; the trouble was that this territory in particular was thinly marked with the borders of another wolf. However whether they were present in the moment or not, he could not be sure with his inexperience.

He would not search for a cache, such actions would be disrespectful though he was rather hungry. Instead he hoped to pass through, find a rabbit on the way if he could. The copse was quite calming, nearly lulling him into a much needed rest - but he knew that it was not an option now.

Shaking the idea from his mind, he continued forwards. Just keep moving, just keep moving and it will all be fine.

She'd felt out of sorts since meeting the strange boy. He had seemed almost... frightened of her. That didn't sit well with Foxglove. However much she tried to put it out of her mind, though, it always came back to nag her.

Maybe she shouldn't have been so surprised when she caught his scent in the wind. Logic told her that it would be best to turn back. He hadn't liked meeting her the first time, so why should a second be any different?

It wasn't logic that took hold just then, unfortunately. A wild impulse flashed through her, and before she knew it, Foxglove was sprinting off toward the source of the scent. She was so wrapped up in her intrusive-thought-turned-reality that she didn't even notice the other scents marking the place. Fox was laser-focused on a singular purpose: to launch herself, roaring like a bear, directly into the boy's flank.

And the rest of the plan? Well... she'd figure something out.

When the force of another hit his flank, Sunchaser was sent into a panic that he had been found by the inhabitants of the copse. He wasn't much of a fighter, instead turning to begin running - until he saw who it was at least. Some of the tension in his muscles released, but he was stood firmly planted to the ground nonetheless.

He recognized this one all too well from their last meeting. How could he forget with how she had made him feel?

..Sorry, is this yours? A stupid question - he knew the answer. Her scent did not match the borders in the least.

She smashed into him at high speed — and it felt like slamming into a wall. A furry, warm wall, but nonetheless jarring. Foxglove stumbled back, stunned, and nearly lost her footing in the process. Her ears went flat.

No! She glared at him as if he'd been the one to charge into her. Ugh! You're such a - a dumb boy! Foxglove bristled a little and lunged again, this time darting for his legs to wrap herself around them like an angry cat, all nipping teeth and grasping claws.

What a funny sight! Two young people, completely enamoured with each other in the eyes of Waawaashkeshi. She couldn't help but giggle from where she watched a few tree-lengths away.

She thought they must be good friends, and the boy - he clearly liked her a lot. He was so flustered! Adorable! Classic puppy love, and it was happening right in front of her. She could make a good story out of this.

The sound of a giggle completely took over his mind, eyes searching the nearby trees as he attempted to shake off the girl.

He never should have come here! Now they were both in trouble - and who's fault was it anyways? Neither of them were suppose to be here!

At the giggle, Foxglove froze. Her eyes narrowed as she detached herself from Sunchaser, already searching for the source of the sound. Shhhh! Fox hissed at the boy, though he wasn't making any sound. This was all his fault.

Who's there? And what's so funny, huh? She stood a little straighter as she called out. Had the stranger been laughing at her?
