Pledged status? (Whoops you can ignore this)

I remember (perhaps incorrectly!) at one point that the Pledged user group could be used for unofficial groups as well as packs. Aureli is part of a guild that requires him not to join packs and he's planning to recruit for that — but they will have no official territory, and I don't think it's an idea suited for an actual pack even if we're pretending it's not a pack. (Hope that makes sense.)

Is this an appropriate use for the Pledged user group, or is it more correct to just continue as I am with the Loner user title? Thanks in advance!

Edit: actually I am just going to make a little pendant/icon people can stick in their signature or custom user title because eventually you can join a pack even if you're in the guild.
