All Welcome
The coywolf male had not held his position within Sleeping Dragon for very long. He had been quick to decide on the pack that he would call home, though. In spite of what others would have led him to believe, Gluska did not truly think that being captious over packs was a wise decision in the heat of a famine. He was surprisingly pleased with his decision.

The pack land rose up high into a hot-tipped geyser. The lithe male had no intention of ever peering into the heart of it. As for the lands that he was willing to venture, it seemed as though there was much to explore within the Dragon. The Heda had allowed him in to her ranks with the promise that he would use his skills as a healer to assist her pack. While Gluska was not the largest fan of serving others, he knew better than to argue against the larger wolf. She was the leader and the circumstances that had allowed him in would be simple enough to accomplish. Aside from his aspirations to heal the wounded and ill, the coywolf male’s concern was keeping himself fed. Padding through the unfamiliar territory of the pack, the ochre-tinged wolf kept his sharp yellow gaze peered for anything that would aid his hungry gut.

Rebekka grew bored easily. With nothing to hunt, and no skills to communicate, she was at loose ends trying to come up with stuff to do. She had already made some progress learning Gonasleng, but her accent bore deep and it was often to hard to pronounce mostly everything, right. However, she had to earn her keep and did not stop there. If she could not hunt for the pack, and could not contribute verbally, she would earn her trades and work her way there. This proved harder than said. She did not know how to ask to spar, nor the customs in which to do so, so she found herself winging it every time attempted anything.

On this particular day, she found herself quite agitated. More than normal. She could not sit and do nothing. So when a perfectly health stranger walked by, she took the oportuinty. A simple intake of scent told her all she needed to know. He was apart of Drageda and she had nothing to be wary of. However, how she presented herself to him was less inclined to recived a good response. She charged at him, her brow furrowing in dedication to her practice.

"FIGHT ME!"

Her expression and body language suggested she was perfectly serious and about to deliver the storm. How he would respond, she did not contemplate, or she just didn't care. She believed all wolves could spar, and those who couldn't were practically non-existant to her. She was young, and she had much to learn but she was making way on her own and with the determination she had, it would not belong until she got where she wanted to be. She would prove herself to Heda, and she would earn her place rightfully.

Gluskap did not feel as though he had much to prove to the inky woman who had granted him entrance to her pack. They had established all there was to establish when she had met him on the borders and inquired about his talents and skills. This proved to be a thought that crossed the coywolf’s mind when a pale female sprung from seemingly nowhere and exclaimed that Glu was to fight her. His brows lifted slowly and his sharp yellow eyes roamed her figure with a placid expression on his features. Dark lips formed a straight line that did not seem to move for a moment while he contemplated the events that had just taken place. The dark-muzzled woman did not seem too threatening, though her voice had suggested she was quite serious about duking it out with the coywolf male. He peered curiously at her for a moment, but did not move to confront.

“I’d rather not,” he finally responded with a small frown on his narrow muzzle. His bright canary gaze followed the lines of her body and he found himself entirely perplexed as to why the woman would want to fight a fellow pack member in light of the famine that had ravaged the Teekon wilds. Lack of food meant weaker bodies, and while he was aiming to lend his hand in healing those who became injured… Glu was not too intent on adding himself to that list.

When the male did not respond to her demand, she halted. Had she not said it right? She was pretty sure she had spoke the same language this time, and the words she spoke were understandable. Unless he had no desire to spar and help her earn her trade. Her expression varied from confused and shocked to quite miffed and annoyed. This had never happened before. Nobody had ever refused her. Denying a spar was practically unheard of in Trigeda. These new wolves were getting weirder and weirder by the day. She cocked her head, displaying her confusement.

"Why?"

That was a question. She really was getting the hang of the new language. But perhaps his hesitance to spar with her was that he did not know her. "Ai laik Rebekka kom Trigeda," There, that was better. Now, they could spar right? She did not see why not, and refused to beileve that it was the circumstances they were in that made him decline. Bugs, they were no problem to deal with. She had more pressing issues back home.

Um... @Rebekka? not sure if you were planning on getting around to this? ;o;
Her inquisitive pondering struck Glu in a strange fashion. He peered at her, brows narrowed, body tense, wondering why she would even question his lacking the desire to duel her. It was not simply because he had no idea who the pitch-marked woman was. The coywolf had better things to do than to occupy his time taking up warlike mentality with those who were intended to be his fellow pack mates. Confusion etched his features for only a brief moment as she seemed to rattle off something in another language – one he did not understand – and then met him with an expectant gaze. Considering her request and her obvious bewilderment at his decline, Gluska wondered what game he could make of their encounter. Narrowing his brows just slightly and watching her with cautious yellow eyes, he settled.

“Just look at me,” he remarked, gesturing towards his own frame with a toss of his muzzle. “Am I really a true test of your battle capabilities?” His remark was followed by a quick quirking of a single brow before he continued, narrow features turning sharp and thoughtful. “Would you not rather show your strength in a demonstration on someone who mattered?” A sly grin curled his inky lips upwards and he watched her with an expectant gaze.

i totally thought i replied to this. sorry about that!!

While the girl was not too understanding of the words he spoke, she understood his tone. While the man refused to spar with her, to her annoyance, she knew a challenge when she hear one. If he did not wish to spar with her, what did he want? Her interest in what he had to offer was shown in her body language, her tail swaying across the ground in anticipation. Rebekka returned with her own devious smile, her brow slightly furrowing as she was unsure of his plan. She wished him to go on, yet did not know the proper words to say so. Speaking her native toung was pointless, this one did not carry the accent of someone who spoke Trigedasleng, causing her brow to furrow in dismay. Yet, she did know one word, the universal sign of agreement, one word that she could not possibly get wrong.

"Yes,"

Rebekka was oblivious to his game-like intentions, and wouldn't have cared otherwise. She was a minion, in truth, her main ambition had come to be solely; to serve Heda. This mindset had proved to cloud her better judgement, but in any case, she seen no harm in going along with whatever the male proposed. Rebekka was, in her mind, simply immune to the after math of a bad decision, and all choices were good choices. As long as it didn't hurt anybody, her fun was free game.

<3 that's alright haha
The trickster could almost tell that this woman could scarcely understand what his intentions were, but it made for all the more fun. Peering at her with careful yellow optics, the coywolf nodded his head after she had provided him a verbal agreement. Fixing his eyes on the distant lands, he wondered what would best suit them as a target for her prowess and dominant physicality. After a few moments of thought, Glu came to the conclusion that it would be best for them to travel in search together. The only issue would be getting the Heda to agree to allowing the both of them out of her sight for long enough.

“What say you and I go for a walk one of these days? I could collect herbs and things… and we could find you someone who was truly worth your effort to fight?” the hybrid inquired with a curling smile. Certainly, if she had not understood him before, she was not likely to understand him the second time, but he had painted the words with pleasant tones in hopes of enticing the female to agree to it.
