All Welcome

it is growing quieter in the forest, though whether that is the soft blanket of winter upon them or the drifting apart of his companions he cannot say for sure. it does not bother him, not yet. his conversation with spot lingers at the forefront of his mind - it is true, for a newly forming pack they barely know each other.

sighing softly, the scholar drifts, keeping his senses keen to find someone of their group - thelxiope, he really hopes, or constantine, but - someone to discuss this little issue with.

The days grew shorter with the coming of winter. The swarthy beast felt the quiet of the forest not just as the group of gathered wolves went about their days by keeping to themselves, but also the solitude that seemed to come with the season where everything became frozen. His breath was visible in the bitter air, and the Mayfair gave a gentle chuff, coming across the scent of Samothes.

Quickening his pace, the shadowrunner lumbered in the direction of the pale wolf, his fiery eyes falling upon the drifter with careful study. He announced his presence with another chuff, his muzzle canting lightly as he made to close the distance between the two. "Samothes," he greeted, his tone a quiter rumble.

no sign of thelxiope - her scent seems weaker, and he worries. perhaps their little band is drifted further than samothes initially assumed. there is no point in longing, though he hopes it is temporary and that the lovely druid will return to them. he values her companionship quite a bit (and her skill.) instead samothes is rewarded by the presence of their umbra'd leader - a boon indeed. a smile curves his mouth as he lowers his head in returned greeting, murmuring, "constantine."

again he thinks of what he said to spot, and straightens himself, head tilting slightly. "it's rather quiet," he says, motioning around them (though whether he means their grouping or the forest itself he leaves ambiguous). "how have you been?" the scholar asks. he has not seen the shadowy man since thelxiope and snowe's arrivals, and now both of them seem to have wandered into the cold. he hopes it will not be a trend for the rest of them as the temperature drops by the day.
