Hawkeye did not hear the wolf, but she had definitely sensed her. She turned and spotted Blue Willow a ways behind her on her left flank. The Alphess flipped herself around and began walking in the direction of her subordinate.

When she arrived, Hawkeye greeted the opposing black female with a nod and a "hello, Blue Willow, how are you today?" The midnight wolf wondered if there were any others nearby since foot traffic was so high in the area, with scents of wolves mixing together and overlapping one another.
