She called him an idiot, and to this he sneered and snorted, his ears twitching indignantly at her absurd words as she tried to lay blame on him for 'asking her to hurt herself', before calling him an idiot for the second time and suggesting he go drown in the sea. Luke had a lot of optimistic wisdom to share, but he was not keen to waste his time talking into closed ears, and although he had buckets of patience she had punctured every single one of them and they were draining rapidly. In fact, they had drained so low that Luke was ready to leave.

He turned but did not expose his back to her, keeping himself angled defensively and his eyes fixed upon her as he started to walk away. He had these parting words to share, "If you never move forward, you'll always be in the same place," and then with a flick of his tail he briskly made his exit.
