It turned out that Finley's question came from innocent origins, though its unexpected nature still intrigued Elwood. She had a point, however -- he didn't talk much about his family or his history, but it wasn't because of any negative connotations or bad experiences. And, although Finley had regaled him with tales of her mishaps in childhood, he still felt like there was a lot he didn't know about her. He supposed that it would just come with time; the longer they were together, the more they were in each other's company, the more they would learn -- and the more they would love each other.
