Tomahawk's place beneath her lords was satisfactory. They told her what to do, and she did it. If she stepped out of line, she was quickly reprimanded in one way or another. This, she realized, was what she had been born for. Not to be one of them, but to serve them. It suddenly made sense why she had not fit in where here "mother" had raised her. Kaskara, while she'd had good intentions, had not gotten her as these wolves did. They truly understood her in a way that everybody else had failed to.

Presently, she roamed nearby them, though she was careful not to get too far (or too close) to upset them. The 'yote knew that learning their language was imperative. Without it, she would be unable to truly talk to them as they did amongst themselves. She listened to their conversations, attempting to speak with their words where she could. "Khal" was the word she knew best, of course, for that was the name of her master.
