Blacktail Deer Plateau Fallen from grace

leaving things vague cause reasons :D  She hasn't quite made it back yet if anyone wants to hop in still!

Her alpha insisted that he would be fine, leaving Harlyn with little choice but to obey.  There was a jest upon his tongue as he urged her, yet Harlyn was only able to spare only the flicker of a smile.  With another nudge against the ridge of fur lining his cheek, she stood to take her leave.  "May the gods watch over you, Dante," she said solemnly, continuing the prayer in her mind as she silently slipped away from his side.


With as much speed as her body would allow, Harlyn dashed across the Plateau towards the den of the pack's beta female.  Now away from Dante, her mind began to travel across the many questions she had that there hadn't been time to ask.  First and foremost was.. What had happened?  Looking back, she ran across the evidence she'd gleaned from te scene without realizing it and quickly she became aware that his injuries had not been the result of some fall or hunting accident.  They'd been made by a wolf; one of their pack, at that.

The thought haunted her all the rest of the way to the beta's den, at which point Stevie becomes very vague as to what she experienced there because... Well, I have no idea what's happening there right now.  SO!  Moving on.  Harlyn made a speedy job of grabbing whatever materials she needed before sprinting back to her alpha's side.
