The wolfess twitched when she heard the sound of a voice. It finally registered in her mind that she wasn't alone anymore. Kivi opened her eyes to find a tall, strong male. The female rose to her feet, and stood before the gold and copper male. She hadn't heard the first time he asked the question, but she did hear the second time. Kivi wondered why he would think anyone gave her the meal. Did she really look the helpless? The wolfess certainly wasn't in the best condition she could be in. However after all that traveling, her legs provided the strength and speed needed to catch the hare.

She was prepared to honor her mother, as she was the only person to ever care about Kivi. The female watched the strange male for any signs of him attacking, but so far he showed none.
